The Government in my country is doing just fine. We just sent the Liberals packing with an absolute ass whopping on the Federal Level recently. On a Provincial level the Liberals are about to take a similar whopping which will put the Conservatives back in power. And the biggest city in the country elected a fiscal conservative mayor to turn the ship around, after years of Liberal incompetence.

 

However, I know you're not smart enough to figure this out on your own, but the US is Canada'a biggest, closest, and most important trade partner. We haven't felt the same effects of the Global meltdown that you have, but we need the US to be strong, if we want to remain strong. I understand it's a right of passage that Americans really don't care about what is happening elsewhere in the World, but us Crazy Canucks kinda do.

Since Obama voted against raising the debt when he was in congress (the times he decided to actually vote) and later voted for raising it. By voting on both sides of the same question that would indicate he really does not know which way is right or wrong. Now with the US spending more out in tax dollars than its taking in he (Obama) takes a stab at it again by wanting to raise it.

 

I think Obama is going for 2 out of 3. He should try rock, rock, scissors or maybe a magic 8-ball.
