twintornados
From the article: The EcoBoost engine requires premium fuel so be warned before trying to set any land speed records. From the 2013 Ford Flex owners manual: 3.5L V6 EcoBoost™ engine “Regular” unleaded gasoline with a pump (R+M)/2 octane rating of 87 is recommended. Some stations offer fuels posted as “Regular” with an octane rating below 87, particularly in high altitude areas. Fuels with octane levels below 87 are not recommended. Premium fuel will provide improved performance and is recommended for severe duty usage such as trailer tow. Hmmm, guess the reviewer never bothered to review the manual.... Anthony
Do you like it better on an '09? DSCN2957.jpg No! I think bug guards had their days back in the 80's - 90's. I mean, I recognize the use for them, I just think that the design of newer vehicles don't lend themselves to add-ons like that.

Actually, I agree with you.I consider it more a rock guard to protect the front edge of the hood. I like the looks of them on trucks, but not so much on cars (and the Flex is a car). We put it on anyway, though.
