tjs157
Please create a order tracking website so everyone may track on their own.
gripdad
I agree. My dealer said he would keep me posted but he hasn't. I have called twice in six weeks and both times it felt like I was bothering him. If we had a resource to track the cars ourselves it would be better for us and the dealers.

You're paying the dealer - why shouldn't they take a few minutes per week to give you an update?
VirtualAmerican
Please create a order tracking website so everyone may track on their own. Amen to that!
TomO
In today's world of electronics it would be nice to have the option of checking your order yourself and not waiting for the dealership.
Slampro
100% agreed!! I too get the feeling from the dealer that I am a bother, if I call or show up. I have gone to emails, and get a response(mostly) pretty quick. We ordered a Cmax on may 9th. We were told 8 weeks to delivery. Here it is past 8 weeks and it has an ETA of 8/15. The window sticker says it was supposed to be built on 7/18. I cannot find out if it was.
wildjuanpablo
I have had a similar experience, I am always the one initiating a status check, the dealer is never proactive about getting in touch with me.
1happyboy
My dealer has been great, but I don't want to be a pest and patience is not my best quality! I also would prefer a way to check on my own, at my whim, without having to bother anyone else. Please consider a tracking website!
bhawk587
There is now a site to check vehicle status. www.cotus.ford.com.
akirby
There is now a site to check vehicle status. www.cotus.ford.com. I don't think it's fully functional yet. I tried a Ford Edge 2015 VIN that has a window sticker available but it wasn't found.
heimyford
The www.cotus.ford.com site has been working for me to check the update of my truck the last few days. Sometimes I have to enter the VIN a few times to get it to track but it has worked for me.
