I just found out that after 17 years with my husband and not thinking we could ever have kids, we are having a baby and due Feb 18 - this is awesome news, except that I have to sell the Cobra. If you know anyone... it's impeccable, because I am very anal about my cars and really thought I would be keeping this one forever, but at this point we have 4 cars and I need something that will be good with a baby seat - can't have 5 cars in the driveway. It has ony 20k miles on it or so, Magnaflow exhaust - I still have the original exhaust, plus I have a Rousch roll bar that I never installed that I will give with it. 30k is what I am asking. Stay well and I will probably see you in a 2007 Caddy CTS-V, at least it has 400hp and a stick - - I can't give up all my fun. NLPRacing Posted August 14, 2006 Share Posted August 14, 2006 I drove my 01 Mustang GT Convertible with a rear facing seat for my newborn daughter and a booster for my then 2-1/2 YO son. Now, at 4 YO and 6 YO, they love riding in it with the top down. I say keep it. The first year will be a little rough, but after that, it'll be easy. Plus, 03 Cobra has the LATCH system. Stay well and let me know if you know anyone...Robin Seriously dont sell the cobra, im 22 years old and when i graduated i bought a 2000 mustang gt and i loved it, fast foward to 20 years old and i am engaged to the girl of my dreams (who also loves mustangs) working 50 plus hours a week at a factory, and when we found out we were going to have a baby i did what i thought was the right and best thing to do and traded in my 00 gt in on a crappy 06 chevy equinox for her to drive. I went back to driving the car i was driving when i was sixteen (no fun), and fast foreword again to when i am 22, we are home owners, i overpay every month for the equinox ( i got suckerd into a lease because i had no credit) I just sold my 5.0 mustang to buy my 05 f150 4x4 supercab because we live a bit out of town (wich the payment is half of the equinox payment) incase of heavy snow i needed four wheel drive. The best part is she hates the equinox (we have had tons of problems with it ( leaking oil pan, cruise not working properly, interior falling apart) and misses my mustang that we could have had payed off by now and the baby would fit fine behind her anyways (shes 5'2 and im 6'5) and now i have severe stang envy and nothing to drive but my boring (but nice) f 150.
