fordmantpw
More Great lines! Big congrats to the team who worked on this iCon, well done I'd say. Wow, that may be the best looking 'vert I've ever seen!
RichardJensen
Take a look at the front fender and notice how the curve of the fender flare is merged into the filleted shoulder up top, while carrying a distinct 'coke bottle' profile on the sides. There is a great deal of *craft* in how this vehicle was designed.

There is a great deal of *craft* in how this vehicle was designed. There is a lot of attention to detail that lay folk (like myself who wouldn't know style if it smacked me in the face) will never notice. Notice the crease running through the gas filler door similar to the one on the Taurus.
RichardJensen
Yeah, that seems to be a 'thing'. It's not exactly my favorite aspect of their language, as I like resolved lines.
fordmantpw
Yeah, that seems to be a 'thing'. It's not exactly my favorite aspect of their language, as I like resolved lines. I tend to agree, but it does seem to flow nicely all the way from the headlights to the tail lights.
mettech
I heard today on the news that the 'Stang will have aluminum front fenders.. Any "official" word around here about this?
chevys
Jesus, that gray vert is gorgeous. Looks like MFT is optional. :yahoo: I think about the only thing on my wish list that didnt get changed was a bigger gas tank. But boy, everything else looks great here to me. RichardJensen
More info: http://www.stangtv.com/features/car-features/2015-mustang-updates-from-los-angeles-reveal/ The No MFT Dash....holy buttons! Mustang No MFT.jpg Oooh. I see the non-MFT version has the EU-spec "ultra-worthless" phone keypad, so you know, people will be all, like, "Your car has a phone in it? I am so impressed because it's 1988." And you'll be like, "No, it doesn't. It's Bluetooth paired with my phone, and I never use the keypad because it's easier to use the keypad on my phone or Sync." ford4v429
did rear legroom decrease?
BrewfanGRB
I'll take it - exactly like that! When I first saw shots of the coupe a day or 2 ago, I have to admit, I was "ehh". The rear end especially. It too, early-90s-ish or something. I think it's because of the angle the rear takes and that it seems "short", It's so hard to describe and hard to put my finger on it. But the 'vert is absolutely gorgeous. I love it.
92LX302
did rear legroom decrease? Looks about the same as my dad's '11 vert. Except this '15 have way nicer seats
probowler
Decrease? It looks non-existant! I think even my Camaro has double the legroom than that.... When will we know about interior colors? I want mine in Red

silvrsvt
Anyone else perfer the Pony to the GT on the rear? I think if I got one, I'd get it in grey or green, and replace the hood scoops with vents like what was on the C&D render..
