sblack Posted February 26, 2014 Share Posted February 26, 2014 When I spoke to the Rep at Ford she said that her 2012 Taurus had the moving guidelines and that her's did not have the Active Park Assist option. The dealer said that their information off of an owner's forum indicated that the APA was required to have the moving guidelines. They also stated that the Lady at Ford probably didn't know what she had on her car. The final printing of the owner's manual just indicates that "moving + fixed" can be selected on the touch screen and doesn't indicate any other options required. That option isn't available on my screen. Mine is a 2013 Limited with the 301A package. So does anyone know for sure whether the car is supposed to have the moving guidelines? Maybe there's a Ford employee here. Oh, and I wrote Ford about the problem and was told that the dealer was best qualified to answer me. Thanks for your help. Most (I think maybe even all) of the employees that post here either work in the plants on the line or in the dealers.
