My list starts with a 1970 Ford LTD formal roof tudor sedan and then a front end smashed 1969 Ford Galaxy 500 XL sports roof after the 1970's frame broke by the rear axle which donated it's front clip to the XL. I have had several full frame (72-76) Torinos back in my youth, a couple of LTD II's, a '79 Fairmont (mom's old car), Mercury Lynx and Cougar in the  80's, a really nice '89 Ranger regular cab with shortbox and matching cap which I traded in for an '89 Aerostar for my then wife and then got her a '95 Mercury Mystique (without even checking with her, boy... she was pissed) after separation, I was driving my ex mother-in-laws clapped out '84 Honda Accord then a GEO Prizm (Toyota Corrolla in drag) and finally started to get back on my feet financially after the divorce and bought a 2001 Focus then a few years later traded it in for my first new car ever, a left over 2006 Ford Fusion SE V6...loved that rocket...she was a lot of fun. Traded her in for a 2012 Fusion while on the road for a promotion at work and racked up a ton of miles on it and finally traded it in for my 2011 Lincoin MKX which was traded for my current ride, a 2017 Lincoln MKC. In between all that, I have a 1983 Mustang GLX convertible that now has a proper 302 V8. Had and sold a 1976 Mercury Montego MX that I spent way to much money restoring and lost a chunk of $$ selling, then a 1974 Gran Torino Elite (lots of fun restoring and driving that one, but alas, sold it too) and recently, had a 1995 F150 4X2 truck that was worthless in the winter and upgraded to my 2005 F150 XL 4X4....there have been some other marques in there along the way, most notably a 1984 Dodge D150 4X2 truck with a slant 6 that was as quickly sold and a 1979 Chevy Camaro Berlinetta that I only bought to sell it. (only Chevy I ever owned)....

Lots of cars and trucks, lots of wrenches slung and knuckles busted...enjoyed 'em all (well, except that Dodge)

1998 Escort was my first car

Traded it for a 2002 Explorer Sport. It was a bit of a lemon but I was young and dumb and bought from a kinda shady used car lot.

Traded that for a 2008 Focus SES, manual transmission. Loved that car. Got 200,000 miles out of it before I traded it for my 2019 Flex.

I married into a 2009 Pontiac G5. HATED that car. The clutch never felt solid, the shifter was stiffer than an oak 2x4 and all the little chrome interior accents started peeling and turned into razor blades. It had the coldest A/C I ever had in a car to that point though and the premium sound package sounded pretty good. That little subwoofer packed more of a punch than I would have thought.

Traded the G5 for a 2015 Focus hatchback with a manual. Probably my favorite car I've ever owned to date. I was so sad to get rid of it but I couldn't make 2 car seats fit into it without my knees hitting the dashboard so I traded it for the 2018 Fusion I have in my garage right now. Great car but I liked the Focus way more.  Once the lease is up on the Fusion I'm getting a Ranger, assuming the economy doesn't stay in the toilet and I still have a job a year from now.

My first car when I turned 16 in 1991 was a 1978 E250 Conversion Van with a full 70's style orange & brown shag interior & 8 track player. It was black, had a 460 V8 and chrome wheels. It was my most favorite car I've ever owned. Unfortunately, I ran a red light and was t-boned when right before my 17th birthday.

Then I had a 1983 Mustang GLX Convertible. Red with a red interior & black top. It had a very weak 3.8L V6 and was slow as shit, but had a lot of fun in that car. Unfortunately, I smashed it up during my senior year of high school. Then I rebuilt it using a 90 Mustang GT front end from my buddy's totaled car, then smashed it up a year later. I was pretty rough on cars when I was a teenager.

Next car was a 1989 Mustang LX 5.0 hatchback. I had it from 1994 through 2002. It was a daily driver turned bracket racer. I won a couple of drag racing trophies with it. Still regret selling it.

For a brief time in 1997 I had a 1990 Aerostar that I used for a courier job that I had. Once I got a different job, I traded it in on a new leftover 1996 F150 SuperCab Regency conversion in March 1997. It had a red to black faded paint job, a custom gray leather interior and a 351W V8. I loved that truck.

In June of 1998, we traded my wife's 1995 Mustang GT in for a 1998 Expedition XLT 4x4. It was nice and well loaded for an XLT, but I really wish we had got an Eddie Bauer instead.

In early 2000, I got a company car. So in June 2000, we sold both the 1996 F150 and 1998 Expedition to Carmax (for $8000 more than what the Ford dealer offered for trade-in) and bought a fully loaded 2001 F150 Lariat SuperCrew 4x4. It was red with a gray leather interior. The only option it didn't have was a sunroof.

Right after 9/11, when Ford first offered the 0% for 60 months, I bought a 2001 Mustang GT 5 speed convertible. It was silver with a gray interior & black top. I sold this car in August 2018 with less than 60,000 miles on it to purchase beer brewing equipment.

I purchased my 2014 F150 Raptor in December 2014. As of May 2020, it only has 21,000 miles on it. I've done a few upgrades and will eventually supercharge it. I don't plan on getting rid of it anytime soon.

My wife went through a couple of Expeditions (a 2002 and a 2007) and currently has a 2017 Explorer Limited 2.3EB. She also has a 2019 Mini Cooper JCW company car. My son's first car was a 2004 Mustang GT and when he got a full-ride academic scholarship for college, I bought him a used 2016 Mustang GT. My daughter has a Kia Soul that I made my wife put in her name.

I've had several Ford company cars over the years and the most recent is my 2017 Fusion Sport. I love this car. It's faster & handles better than my old 2001 Mustang and can get nearly 30 mpg on the freeway. I may upgrade to a Mustang Mach E in the future.

I have one of those, but the weak 3.8L V6 got yanked and I put a 302 in her instead...much better.

My first vehicle was a 1992 Explorer Eddie Bauer 4x4.  After 3 years, I traded it for a 1998 Explorer Sport 4x4.  That got totaled in January of 04 so I leased a new Explorer XLT 4x4.  I got engaged later that year and my fiancé’s Neon blew its engine so I gave the Explorer to her and bought my Uncle’s 1989 Crown Victoria.  I had that for six months but the maintenance on a 15 year old car plus driving it in the winter was killing me.  From there, I had:

1999 Mercury Mystique GS

2003 Ford Taurus SES

2005 Ford Freestyle SEL AWD (loved this car)

2014 Ford Flex SEL AWD (current car)

My wife proceeded to have after the Explorer:

2007 Ford Edge SEL AWD

2006 Mercury Monterey

2014 Ford Expedition EL XLT 4x4 (current car)

I also have a 2010 Mustang I drive during the summer.  Love my Fords!

Sadly I have only owned the 2001 Lincoln LS. I gave it to my sister when I bought my 2008 Jeep Wrangler and happy to say I still get to visit it when i go home for summers. Still running strong. Air doesn't work but that's okay. Now turning in my Jeep Wrangler for the 2020 Ford Explorer Hybrid.

I bought my second Ford yesterday, a 2006 Focus ZXW SE. My first was a 1983 LTD Crown Victoria, I seriously miss that car. Last year I was very tempted to buy a 1988 Town Car but there were some concerns about it and I passed on it. D51ED815-1095-49E8-8395-BFCC360C8194.thumb.jpeg.30ad2a390f45ea1002851fbeaf3cfc88.jpeg

First vehicle I bought was an 2001 Ford Ranger my senior year of high school. To this day I wish I still had it. Decided to try out an SUV after that.  Bought a 2004 Ford Escape. I loved how it handled.  I eventually upgraded to a 2008 Explorer Limited and about drove the wheels off it untill I purchased my 2015 Explorer. Now I'm awaiting the delivery of my 2020 F250. Can't get here soon enough.
