Ford truck guy
Yea,, my 1982 F-250 with the 351.. Loved it so much , I purchased it back from the kid I sold it to a couple years later...then my next favorite is my current - 09 F-350..having a lot of regen issues , and it is now going into regen every 40-50 miles... 2 dealers say there is nothing wrong.... Warranty is up in June and I do not want to be stuck....so my wife came up the the idea of a new one.... Yea , I am lucky
JScullin
We're a Ford family, minus my sister. I've had/have a '00 Cougar, '99 CV P71, '01 CV P71, '13 Fusion. Still have the Cougar. Dad has always had trucks. E.B. Bronco, 80's/90's F150's, '99 Expedition, '04 F150 Mom has had exclusively driven Taurus Wagons from '89, '99, and now '04 with a brief stint in an '02 CV P71 Edited March 12, 2014 by JScullin
Anthony
1969 Mustang Grande 1978 Maverick 1978 Mustang II 1979 Mustang Turbo 1981 Mustang Ghia (6cyl) 1981 Mustang Notch 1983 Thunderbird TurboCoupe 1986 Escort GT 1987 F-150 Reg Cab 1988 Mustang Notch 1991 Probe 1991 Escort 1991 Continental 1993 Ranger Supercab 1994 F-150 XLT Supercab 4X4 1997 Thunderbird 3.8L (There's also about another 15-20 non Ford vehicles to add as well) I was busy in my 20's. In comparison, I've only bought around 4-5 vehicles in the last decade. Edited March 12, 2014 by Intrepidatious

ford4v429
all the cars Ive had (in chronological order) off brands in brackets, * on ones we still own old 69 galaxie 429 -rusty- fast as hell. wrecked in '79 or 80...*kept the 429, going in my mustang soon. old 71 LTD 400 - wore out/scrapped in 82...they drove it to the junkyard...couldnt kill that 400 old 71 capri scrapped in 82- rust [old 71 elcamino-350->396] scrapped in '83, wore out... [old 69 camaro -307->396] scrapped in 1984, shoulda kept, wasnt that bad [81 dodge d150-225->396 swap at 1 year old] gave away body in '94, still have the 396 though. best paint Ive ever owned.225 sucked. [85 camaro 2.8] first new chevy- paint failed at 3 yrs...no more chevys for 22 yrs... gave away in 2005 *old 69 mustang 302 89 Mark VII 5.0 (absolutely wonderful car, but expensive upkeep) scrapped- front unibody rust in 2012...loved this car 93 F150 300/6 gave away in 2005 *97 ford/new holland tractor 98 windstar 3.8 ford scrapped it in 2010- axle/frame *old 65 Galaxie 500 LTD 289 (old friend left it to me...)had to build a new frame for it, mostly original otherwise *06 mustang gt (love it! summer only) *07 mustang v6 (wifes summer car) *07 Avalanche (wifes- its been a wonderful vehicle- albeit a chevy...still looks new, 22-24 mpg crosscountry) *09 mustang gt undriven- 4 mile time capsule...never ever been on the road. *old 00 marquis 5.0 rusty now, winter beater...looked great till this year, these were really great cars. other fords in the immediate family: *old 90 Mark VII - 18 yr old sons- we rebuilt it with parts from my 89, its a beautiful car *old 00 expedition- 18 yr olds 'truck'...killing him in gas, even with 4.6/2wd, it only gets 13 or so. like new still *old 97 ranger- 15 yr old sons project- tons of work, really nice little truck now...hes got his temps. yep, theres a lot of Ford sitting here, and the one lone chevy... if they still made the panthers, I'd buy one...likely will swing thru texas next time out west, pick up another 2000-02... the old interior is sooo much better than the 2011 I rented, and I like the looks of the handling package wheels(even bought a set for our 65). great year round tank, rwd, reliable v8, easy to work on...if I were to buy a new CAR today, only one I'd consider would be the Challenger. not a FWD fan, not a bubblecar fan, not a 2015 mustang fan... if only it wasnt a mopar...the stupid shit that went wrong with that 81 (bad enough I put a chevy motor in it and drove 10 yrs) really soured me on mopars... a girl at work had a bellhousing break on her durango, and the dealer made it sound common? as dumb as fords blow-out/break-off spark plugs yrs back... our avalanche will need replaced, with the paint issues I'm still seeing on fords, next new vehicle will probably be another chevy truck... the three mustang hoods are shit underneath, even if only one blistered to the shiny side(@ 3 yrs old)... brand new fords at the autoshow had as bad or worse paint blistering/chipping only on aluminum hoods... the aluminum F150 I'll avoid for at least 4-5 yrs, just to see if they figure out their hem paint issues...if they dont get a handle on these aluminum sealing/painting issues, sorry, but I'll never buy another. it really pisses me off they still have terrible finishing of mustang hood hems/paint bubbling on brand new cars- its been a problem over a decade now the 07 chevy is a winter/salt whatever truck, cross country bus for the 6 of us many times, and the paint other than stone chip touchups is great... did have to fix some surface rust on the crossmember above the spare tire, but hell, its got 90,000 trouble free miles on it, mostly in ohio winters...kudos to GM on a decent paintjob. I stayed away for 22 yrs after the shitty paint on my 85 camaro started peeling- its bullshit to pay that much for something with crap paint. took me 22yrs to come back- I wont be buying cars in another 22 yrs, if ford wants to ever see my address on a sales order again, theyd better fix their blistering/peeling aluminum hood issues Edited March 13, 2014 by ford4v429

hanginonWHSP
I've owned a 1977 F150 4x4, a 1978 F150 4x4, a1986 F150 4x4, a1987 F150 4x4, and my all time pride and joy, my 2003 F250 4x4 crew cab, V10, 6 spd manual. She was the only brand new vehicle I bought brand new, and paid for all by my lonesome! But she met an untimely demise back in October , and hit the scrap yard. But my search for a replacement will go on...And I've owned a 1971 Torino, a Pinto or two, back in the day....and a 1977 Thunderbird, which was one hell of a nice ride......Trucks are the best though!!!!!! Scott Carlton Windell
Sadly I have been in Honda world since 1987. Was looking for my next hybrid when I happened on a 2013 Fusion. LOVE at first sight! Everything I have read has been exceptional so I researched for 6 months and took the plunge in March. So perhaps I will be a Ford guy from here on. Got to see if I can get the wife out of Jeeps, we own two of those!
