rp2388
So I had to take my car in a couple of weeks back to get the MFT controller replaced because it crapped out. The replacement works great so far but I noticed when I paired my phone to this new system, the 911 assist icon was gone. I looked everywhere in the settings and there's no option to turn the feature on or off. Since there was a sync update I wondered if that might be it but I found nothing in the patch notes. Reading the manual, it appears that 911 Assist is an app that comes loaded into the system. My question is: is there any way to download the 911 assist app from somewhere, or is this something that I'll need to take to the dealer to get installed? YT90SC
Depending on your particular failure, the information that the IDS needs to program your new APIM may not have been available. It is possible that it might have 'dropped' it in transition from your old APIM to new. I don't think you can fix it yourself.
akirby
You need to get the software reloaded with the correct software and configuration.
fordtech1
Either the app didn't get checked when the new apim was being programmed or a error occurred. I suspect the tech didn't check the app. Unfortunately, the dealer will have to reinstall apps.
