Ford GT Testing at Sebring

Some may argue that the shape of the new GT lacks the classic lines of the GT-40; however, it had to be changed to incorporate new technology so that it can compete in today's racing environment. Likewise, the engine choice is a product of current rules, power, size, weight, availability, dependability, and time constraints. While some may argue that it is all about "ecoboost" advertising, I think it is all about winning; and this engine has repeatedly been reliable in 24 hrs. endurance races. The sound of the engine may be foreign and not as sweet as a V8; but it is the sound of performance dictated by engineering. Sort of a "function over form" thing.

Ive heard several soundtracks, some sound Amazing, some awful....a LOT id dependent on the quality of the device that did the recording...also...a V6 turbo is inherently never going to sound as guttural as a V8...for that we have the 5.2...and there again..recordings don't do it justice.
