rmc523
Here's the Continental's first TV ad: Ford Motor Co. will begin airing its first commercials for the Lincoln Continental, featuring actor Matthew McConaughey, later this month. The automaker’s latest television spots were filmed in Reykjavik, Iceland, and directed by Wally Pfister, who has worked on movies including “Inception,” “The Dark Knight,” and “The Dark Knight Rises.” The ads feature the 2017 Continental sedan on a glacial plain, shallow water and other unique terrain. http://www.autonews.com/article/20161219/RETAIL03/161219867/lincoln-taps-mcconaughey-for-continental-ad-campaign --- It's better than the 18 "first ever ___" commercials GM has for its different products, and CT6's backward moving people on sidewalks. brucelinc
The best McConaughey ad they have done, in my opinion.

twintornados
I like Matthew in the commercials, but I would REALLY like to see Jill Wagner make a re-appearance....that would be great!

BORG
I think they just need to keep Matthew around for the Navigator launch and then I think it's time to move onto a new campaign.
ANTAUS
No clue who he is, don't care to know, but I'm waiting to see the SNL version...
grbeck
When your ad campaign is well-known enough by the general public to be parodied by Saturday Night Live, you've hit the mark.
timmm55
I sat in one last week. 1) They don't need an L version. Plenty of leg room 2) the optional rear seat control option is cool 3) The door handles are sexy, and the pull shut feature is a nice touch 4) The interior door electronic door release was WOW! In the parking we talked to a woman who traded-in her 7 series BMW on an all black Continental with red brake calipers. She loved it.
Trailhiker
Two Mathews for the price of one! This will be spoofed by all the late night hosts!
630land
Those Caddy ads with cars driving in cities, with no traffic, aren't realistic. Younger Urbanites in Manhattan/Brooklyn/Chicago prefer Uber or Lyft to socialize in high rise areas. They only drag their car [Corolla/Civic/CRV] out of parking garage to go to work in the suburbs, taking expressways. The Caddy XT5 ad, with the women wafting for rain to stop, makes more sense, since it looks like a low rise community, like LA or Nashville. Lincolns ads are good, aiming at Sun Belt regions, and not trying to be "millennial-ish" Edited December 22, 2016 by 630land
