sdonaghey
Can anyone provide me starting steps on what needs to be removed first to open up the center area to remove the Sync system? I can't find anything showing the steps and I don't have a shop manual available to show me. Just wondering what is the first piece to remove, just so I don't break anything. sdonaghey
Try searching on YouTube. Really! I wish I thought of that. If you know of an exact video that would be great. I just love it when people just plurt out nonsense. I have a 2016 MKX and I am going to start a Sync 2 to Sync 3 upgrade this weekend. You can find videos of just about anything on YouTube. If you don't like my suggestion, nobody is forcing you to use it.

I spent a half an hour searching on YouTube and closest I found was 4dtech's video on the 2015 MKZ center console stack trim & touchscreen removal.
