NLPRacing
Because all those vehicles look exactly like the production Ford vehicles they're based on...... I mean honestly, if it didn't have a Ford badge on the grille you wouldn't be able to tell they were even Fords. That's not entirely true. Monster Trucks, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, ARCA, and NHRA pro stock have quite a bit of brand identity even with the badges removed. Not one of these have Ford engines despite having Ford badges & obvious Ford styling: And this "Ford" obviously has a Chevy engine.
akirby
Take away the front stickers on that camping world truck and it looks nothing like a F150. I’ll give you the monster trucks.
coupe3w
And yet Ford supports this. What a bunch of hypocrites.

loubif
As much as I have loved Pro Stock racing, especially during the Bob Glidden days this new class (2019 SAMTech.edu NHRA Factory Stock) is reminding me more of what I enjoyed so much, the Big 3 battling it out on the dragstrip for quarter mile supremacy, and me cheering on the Cobra Jets to edge out the COPOs and Mopar Drag Paks!
mpcmotorsports
NHRA's Factory Stock class should become the new Pro Stock class. It reminds me of the early days of Pro Stock with the factory support and stock body cars.
