Production Week Scheduling Information

Recommended Posts

Don't know where to ask this question.

Ordered an F350 on 7/6/20, got the VIN the following week. Based on the posts above, it looked like it was scheduled for the week of 8/31. Followed it on alumizilla.com as it went to Scheduled to Week and then Scheduled to Day. But on Friday 9/4 it changed to In Order Processing and has been that way ever since. Any clue what happened?

First advice is always to contact your Dealer as they have 24/7 access to vehicle status updates. It's unusual for scheduled units to change scheduling status so late in the process but there may have been a commodity or other issue. Your Dealer will have access to that information or be able to contact their Zone Manager or Regional Scheduler for assistance. I do not recommend relying on third party sites for status information.

I saw this. But for me "soon" is not January. And why do they start Corsair PHEV in november? Is there enough Corsair PHEV to fill the production line for 2 months?

So what does that mean exactly?

It's just an example of the information regarding the dealership ordering and scheduling process for vehicle lines that are part of the newer WBDO scheduling process and the related wholesale commitment.

Escape PHEV Production Moving to 2021MY (Notice to Ford Dealers)

SUMMARY

After initially planning to sell Escape PHEV in 2020 as a 2020 MY vehicle, a decision has been made to shift Escape PHEV production to the 2021 MY on sale in the first half of 2021.

KEY MESSAGES

  • We are moving full scale production of Escape PHEV to the 2021 MY. The first Escape PHEVs will be sold in the first half of 2021.
  • We are moving production to next year while we work with the battery cell supplier to supply batteries for the 2021 MY Escape PHEV
  • Quality is a top priority. Customers love the all-new Escape and Escape Hybrid, which earned top honors in the J.D. Power 2020 APEAL Study. We are targeting to launch the Escape PHEV next year with this same level of quality.
