• Ford has not yet released the Production Week Scheduling Information for the week of August 29th.
  • The scheduling information will be posted as soon as it's available from Ford.

• Ford has still not released the Production Week Scheduling Information for the week of August 29th. This is highly unusual as the information is always available by late Friday afternoons.
  • Either someone at Ford dropped the ball by not posting at least the initial scheduling information or Ford is just running very late in configuring the scheduling mix and plant schedules as multiple vehicle lines are at or close to "Balance Out" scheduling.  
  • The scheduling information will be posted as soon as it's available from Ford.

INFORMATION

• The Scheduling Toolbox has been replaced by a new/revised FDNB (Fleet Distribution News Bulletin) that was released for the first time on Friday, September 2nd. 
• The new FDNB consolidates all information, including commodity restraints, for each vehicle line in separate tabs. 
  • The new FDNB is distributed in a spreadsheet (Excel) format that then has to be reformatted to correct the page size and orientation (Typical, sloppy work by Ford!) 
  • I then distill the FDNB into a .PDF file after sorting the pages so that I can work with the information. 
  • While the new FDNB includes more information, it takes a lot more time to extract the desired information. 
  • I will continue to provide the information until I can decide whether the time involved is worth the effort, etc.
