In the letter, Miles writes about how the Cobra could be improved upon by making them into "Daytona" spec. cars in a similar fashion to the Ferrari GTO. Back when I was a kid, I wrote Shelby American, and asked for a picture of a Cobra. He sent me a picture along with a brief letter. I believe Ken Miles was referring to the car that would later be known as the Le Mans Hardtop, two of which were entered in the 1963 24 Hours of Le Mans.
