Ford to move to Quarterly Sales Reports

5700 sales in April - that's about 1/2  to 2/3 of what you are building - no?

Something like that, which is why inventory is still very low. Not all dealers have gotten much of a supply yet. Some haven't gotten any. This is a deliberate slow ramp up, if things haven't changed after Labor Day then it might be time to hit the panic button.

Their spin on that is they’re still ramping up production and not all configurations are available yet.

GM used a staggered approach for the 2019 Silverado and Sierra product launch. Crew Cab first, then Double Cab, and finally Regular Cab.

All configurations should be available now. They just announced pricing on 2019 Silverado Regular Cab last week. https://www.autoblog.com/2019/05/02/2019-chevy-silverado-1500-regular-cab-pricing/

FCA is the first foreign automaker announcing that it will do quarterly sales reporting in the U.S., starting in Q3 2019. https://www.autonews.com/sales/fca-shift-quarterly-sales-reports-us-and-canada

Nissan is the 2nd foreign automaker after FCA to join the domestics with quarterly reporting. The new policy is in effect as of January 2020. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-01-29/nissan-scales-back-u-s-sales-operations-to-regain-footing
