Bob Rosadini
A friend of mine has a 2002 GT that he bought new in 02 with 28,200 miles. Unfortunately it was his wifes, driven very little and usually covered outdoors. Long story short, vehicle looks great but front clip is so badly rotted a good bump would have you off road. What is market for a 2002 GT 4.6 with 5 speed and no miles as a donor engine?
Anthony
Unfortunately, not very much. The 4.6 is not really a valued engine unless it is a straight replacement for a blown motor. If the interior is good and everything but the front-end, parting out would get the most bang for buck, but has a huge annoyance factor in taking the car apart and dealing with a shell, etc.... Best to sell the entire car as a parts car for a grand or so. Those cars don't go for much in the first place ($4-6k).
