Thanks for the memories-One of my first memories of getting into cars in the mid-late 1980s was following the development of the Ford Cobra 230 ME, which was canceled in 1988 or so due to currency fluctuations and other things-but the engine eventually winded up in the Taurus as the Taurus SHO.

Jim was about the only guy around taking spy pictures of new cars back in the day.  He sold a lot of pics to Popular Mechanics.  RIP.

He was the guy in automotive spy photography and did it well.
