Howman
Placed order for 2020 GT350 on 7-18-19. Still no schedule build week or VIN. Yet others who ordered just before and/or after me have received VIN's and scheduled build weeks. Dealer - at time of order placement said he had allocation - then later, when questioned, said he will have allocation. How does this allocation stuff work? Seems like I've wasted more than a month with no news about build. I know lots of 2019 guys had it a lot worse, but I don't understand why can't get a schedule! I thought a sold, retail order had some sort of priority. Apparently not! Any help in understanding would be appreciated!! Thanks!

ice-capades
Dealers were notified when the 2020MY Mustang USOB (Unscheduled Order Bank) opened what their 2020 Mustang GT350 & GT500 would be for the year. GT350 & GT500 orders will show a "Material Hold" status as these orders are scheduled at the Regional Office level with the Regional Office determining when a Dealer will get GT350/GT500 orders scheduled. As such, priority codes for these units only apply for a Dealer having allocation for more than one unit and is not affected by any other unscheduled Mustang orders in the system. In addition, the priority codes for any vehicle only apply to a Dealer's own order bank and is not affected by any other Dealer's order bank. I ordered my GT500 on day one, 7/1/19, and it seemingly took forever to be produced. I just wish it hadn't taken so long as I probably won't get to drive it until spring. Hope you get yours quickly once produced.

Any idea how long it typically takes for a GT350 to move through trim line? Thanks for your assistance!
