Chevy Silverado 'Invisible Trailer'!

Chevy has a new commercial advertising ,almost constantly, about the backup towing camera that makes the trailer disappear on the screen and thus giving you a clear view on the screen when backing up a trailer! They call it the 'Invisible Trailer' and claim it's first in the industry! Does Ford have anything like that?

Good info! Chevy is really touting it almost non stop in their latest commercials!

Another thought...! I think it's a great safety idea , especially since it allows the driver to spot anyone ( small children)  or any undetected objects that might appear. You can bet the first question interested buyers will say is: "does Ford offer this?"

Well, in a way, Ford has this.  They have a camera you can mount on the back of your trailer.  It serves essentially the same purpose, but you just can't use it while you're driving down the road.

That's cool, but I think Chevy advertises it as an option you can simply press the screen icon to activate!

Yes it's integrated into the rear camera system on the rest of the vehicle.  But it still requires a stick on camera on the back of the trailer.

Ford could (and should) include this in the next gen.  The technology is not proprietary to GM.
