DieterG
Is there a possible delay in Mustang production because FlatRock is handling that issue? Edited September 17, 2019 by DieterG

I expect hiccups at launch. I'm not excusing it, just trying to explain how stuff happens, and how it takes a bit to make things right. So why are they still building them ? Worse, they have so many of them they have to ship them to Flat Rock for repairs. That is INSANE ! Part of the problem is that this is Ford's third best selling product and a profitable one at that-so they need to keep the dealers lots full. No. They're doing it when the normal line is shut down and using other employees and outside contractors.

Way to go BlueOvalForums! "A Freep source told the paper of Explorer transmissions "leaking so much that it looks like a crime scene," and a Blue Oval Forums member with three Explorers on his dealer lot said two of them were bad, with an "AC leak on one. Coolant AND transfer case leak on the other."
Harley Lover
Since production start up is right in Joe Hinrichs' wheelhouse, he cannot be very happy about how this is going. I wish we had some insight into that aspect of this.
