Ford is selling both in China. Escape is the new one with different face than the rest of the world Escape/Kuga. Kuga is still the previous generation that has been discounted a bit to compete with Skoda, Chevy and Kia. So Ford may be launching something called Kuga in China later this year to replace the old one... probably along the lines of Escort being an update on the old Focus. jasonj80
Ford has really messed the launch up, when it was evident that Covid was going to carry on they should have done a streaming event, or even just released a photos, trims and features. Followed that up with a huge event in August where it would be taken out with media on the trails and such. They could have done reports and Q & A with reporters online during the time. You had Tens of Millions of people stuck at home who would had looked at pictures and thought wow something adventurous when I'm locked at home and listened. To make matters worse yesterday there was a post by bronconation (Ford official but not really) showing the group on Instagram of all white males, horrible tone deaf in the current environment. Also not represented of the total market of this vehicle. Edited June 11, 2020 by jasonj80

Agreed the reveal launch has been dragged out now maybe to the detriment of people losing interest. But if Ford streamed the event or released official info right when Covid hit and everyone went into lockdown, I'm not it would have gotten as much interest as next month's reveal. Sure, most people were stuck at home, but how many were receptive and in the mood to watch a streaming launch event with Ford officials surely hamming it up and speaking in hyperbole. I think most people were preoccupied about their health and livelihood instead. Edited June 11, 2020 by Lavien

Trader 10
I think Ford is right in delaying the intro - the Bronco won’t be in showrooms until spring 2021. I know everyone is anxious to see it but Showing it too far ahead of availability introduces the risk that interest may peak too soon. The Baby Bronco and new F-150 are only a couple months away from production and the Bronco is only about 5 months away from production. I would argue that Ford should have already revealed at least one of these vehicles since most has been revealed already. Stop the incessant speculation and at least reveal the baby Bronco and F-150. I know the F-150 reveal is set for June 25, but the reveal delay on the Bronco line is painful and unnecessary. Ditto for plugin Corsair. valve
They can't reveal the baby without the big brother. As discussed above, a reveal of only one or the other would cause confusion - it makes sense to show them both at the same time to understand the relationship between them and not confuse one for the other. mackinaw
Back when the original Mustang was introduced in 1964, there was no reveal. The car was announced on April 17, 1964, and you could buy it the same day. I've always wondered if some manufacturer would try that again. mackinaw
Yeah, you're right. A different time, back in the 60's. No reveals, manufacturers just brought stuff out. I'm playing the nostalgia game here.

If anyone thinks Ford is anti-minority, they're crazy; It sounds like Ford simply hired the best people for the job. Diversity is fine, but it shouldn't be forced. Lavien
Here’s some good previews of the 2 door and 4 door Bronco in production colors including Grabber Blue. https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/grabber-blue-2021-bronco-4-door-preview-renderings.1396/ https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/bronco6gs-2021-bronco-in-production-colors-painted-and-white-top-flares-grille-preview-renderings.1352/ Any favorite colors? T-dubz
I’m not a huge fan of most of those colors, although that will probably change when we see the real thing instead of renders. If it was my choice, I’d get a dark green like the bullitt, or a really dark blue. I also wish lead foot gray was being offered. The problem is that "minority" (as in small groups, not skin color) often uses racism card or other techniques to get attention and more or less bully the majority into what they want to do, because the majority is too afraid of push back. I get what jasonj80 is saying, but not also not 100% sure that the Bronco launch would be corrupted by that...but then again anything is possible. Just look at the blowback with police and Paw Patrol of all things.
silvrsvt
As for Bronco colors-leaning towards Area 51, which looks like a greenish grey color. Have to see what it looks like in a real photo. Maybe one of the Greys or blues otherwise, leaning towards blue since I've already had a grey Mustang.
