It's not that simple. If you saw the amount of work that still needs to be done just in body shop alone, you would understand why we aren't going to start building the earliest builds for another 6 months at least. Literally half of the building is still empty despite all of the stuff they installed over the Christmas break.

You also don't really want to show it off after those builds start because that's how leaks happen.

Oh no.  I'm not saying now on this project.  This one is what it is at this point.

I mean in general on new vehicle programs/launches when you're starting the project years out, make a target date closer to the show/anticipated launch.  Obviously things can change, but I'm just thinking there's got to be a way to shorten that gap - other companies do it.

I think the problem is Ford is always pushing to launch these new vehicles as soon as possible already and there are so many moving parts with factory retooling, etc.

Its easier with a new version of an exiting model.

All these "leaks" are making me wonder if something is happening sooner then later-we go from 0 to having a "controlled" leak of the Baby Bronco or Bronco every 4-5 days now it seems...

Well, it wouldn't be Bronco - why would Ford trumpet "Spring 2020" if something were happening sooner?
