Ground Touring-Worth the Wait?

Yet another review complaining about the not so smooth performance of the GT. Is it really worth the waiting and the money? The GT was the one I want to get, but now I'm confused.

Our second test vehicle delivered the expected performance. It managed a zero-to-60-mph run of 5.0 seconds flat and a quarter-mile time of 13.6 seconds at 103 mph.

The second car performed as advertised and felt as if everything was operating properly, but that doesn't necessarily mean all is well. Throttle response varies widely depending on circumstances. Sometimes the Grand Touring's power overwhelms the vehicle with more thrust than anticipated. Under these circumstances, the Aviator PHEV squats on its softly suspended hind quarters like a dog about to break into a sprint. You can ride that nose-up/tail-down pitch for long enough to think: This is what it feels like when a boat comes up on plane. Yet, sometimes, a stab of the throttle results in less drama—too little drama, in fact. Combine that inconsistent power delivery with a springy, inconsistent brake pedal (thanks, regenerative brakes), and the driving performance is, well, inconsistent.

Their review has more inconsistencies than the GTs claimed throttle response: 27 photos and all of them are the same regular GT, not a Black Label GT as tested and listed in their chart; the EPA ratings are incorrect; they fail to detail what tests if any were conducted by starting out with a fully charged battery; they don't state that this is still a pre or early production unit or what driving modes were used.
