LincolnLawyer
I have a 2018 and I noticed tick/clicking sound recently when turning. At first I thought it was coming from the driver’s seat bottom, but upon closer inspection, it seems to be coming from under the bottom of the driver’s side dash where the steering column can be seen after removing a black plastic panel just above the pedals. Just curious if anyone else has noticed something similar. Thanks! Edited November 30, 2019 by LincolnLawyer
akirby
Does it click with the steering wheel or with the wheels/tires rotating while turning?
LincolnLawyer
It clicks when turning the steering wheel in either direction, but only when the vehicle is in motion. It doesn’t seem to make the noise when turning the wheel while stopped. I guess I could be wrong, but the clicking seeming to be coming from within the cabin, specifically the driver’s footwell area. vipersinu2
Are you sure its not the sunroof chattering away? Also it may be something with blinkers, so when you turn your wheel the blinker shuts off. Or a rubbing wireing harness in the steering wheel. Can u post video?
