They Were Blind, Now They See....?

After reading the latest from our IUAW fixers Ray Curry and Rory Gamble I`m still wondering, these two didn`t think anything financially strange was going on over the years they were IUAW board members or regional staff members?

But now they have started the clean up process?

“Dues dollars are sacred,” said Acting President Gamble. “Secretary-Treasurer Curry and I, along with the entire International Executive Board, are committed to establishing stringent financial controls and new procedures to address and fix any weaknesses in the system. The UAW will hand over to our membership in 2022 a financially safeguarded union.”

Hmm sacred? But nothing in their planned house cleaning about bricking retirement checks of the other members of the E-Board and regional staff they have been working with and going to conferences with for years.....?

How bout put our SACRED DUES back to two hours a month? Now (period)  I mean Denny`s bullshit speech about "we" need to increase "our" dues was just that, bullfrickinshit!!!!!

Want some of the membership to buy into the clean up crews attempts at stopping what shit they didn`t see or understand was going on? for frickin years....

REDUCE MY DUES TO WHAT IT WAS BEFORE DENNY NEEDED MORE CIGARS!!!! LAP DANCES!!!! GOLF SHIRTS!!!! ETC FRICKIN ETC......

I read an article online yesterday in the Detroit News that says the Feds aint buying the reforms Rory puts in place as being good enough. The current IUAW leadership has lost all credibility. The union needs all new people at the top along with reforms and an open and honest election for leadership positions, that can be more easily participated in by newcomers seeking election. No more 'Good Old Bozo`s' network or the clique will "BOOOOOO" you off stage.

U.S. attorney,Matthew Schneider, stated that the corruption charges against the UAW are "based on greed"."Putting your own interest above others".That sums up what our union has become in a nutshell.Years ago,I was told by my mitty-man to "cut a deal".I was informed that, the local would absolutely not stand in the way of anybody`s deal.Furthermore, this would be hilarious if it was not true,I was told that if "They dont like you,I cant help you".That mitty-was successful in winning elections at not only at that plant but also other facilities that he transferred to. In a deal shop, once I got my deal, why would I want to stick with my other union members at the risk of potentially losing my deal? The local I work for now goes by the rules and if there is a grievance they attempt to resolve the issue according to  rules that apply equally to everybody. No more, crawl under the bosses desk.No more, look at ME boss,I am the best ya got and I agree with you, that other guy {my union brother} is an loser. No more cutting the bosses lawn. What good is any union if there is not equal enforcement of the contract among its members? After the union leaders are cleaned out the membership has to change as well.We need ethical leaders who will restore the concept of what it means to be a strong union.I think they exist.Whats on every UAW Presidents wish list this Christmas?Soap on a rope! I would have sympathy but I am just too tired of being lied to and I am too frustrated to care at this point. If found guilty,go to prison and serve your time.

"The United Auto Workers international executive board on Thursday named acting president Rory Gamble to head the union until June 2022 as he pledged a series of reforms following a criminal investigation into illegal payoffs that has rocked the union."

Hmmm all those activists talking about demanding a Special Con Con.... guess the same blind IUAW EBoard members put an end to that BullShit. :redcard:

Rory nor any other IUAW EBoard member wondered or say anything about the 3.5 million dollars worth of watches being bought and sitting in a warehouse somewhere in Detroit? But they know Rory is the man for the job? the same IUAW Eboard that didn`t see anything wrong with Gary when the incumbent caucus put him in as president? or the same EBoard that build Denny a hideout by the lake.... would have loved to been able to over hear that eboard meeting discussion....

Remember this... (just google Gary`s pat on the back from Denny, speech...) (Rory be sittin a the front table just a smilin)

This is some goofy shit....

Rory may be a good choice but the next election the rules should be changed so the same old 'good ol` boys' clique does not just automatically get to appoint another one of "its own" using some mock election.

I agree Fatso but, nothing will change in the election process if the delegates vote, for the members. The delegates are put through the circus act before they even get to the voting. Then the incumbent caucus is completely in control of everything. This incumbent caucus picked every person sitting on the IUAW Eboard currently. So everyone now holding a position has had to look the other way, ask no question and/or got their share.

I know what goes on at the Con-Con, did it twice. Then I never excepted another nomination after becoming aware of what was actually going on at a con-con. I`ll never forget my second and final clear view of what the union con-con truly is. Denny sent the boys to have me come and have a discussion.... at that father son discussion he stated he had high hopes for me and would be a staff member in my next term, if I would just drop my change the world personality and to just go along with what dad needed to get done.

If the incumbent caucus controls everything from the free food to the locals sending puppets nothing will change.

Nepotism has long been used at the joint UAW-GM Center for Human Resources; staff members jokingly refer to it as the “Center for Hiding Relatives.” hehehe

Jewell got sham jobs at the Center for hiding friends, family members, and allies. Both of Jewell`s sons are appointed.

Vice President Estrada admitted during a deposition in an unrelated case in 2015 that her step-daughter worked at the UAW-GM Center. John, Joe Ashton`s nephew is a facilities manager there, has said that his uncle, former IUAW vice president and GM board member Joe Ashton, helped him get his job.

According to prosecutors, the Center paid out hundreds of thousands of dollars to the UAW, which was undergoing a financial crunch, by paying union employees "as if" they were Center employees.

It this number three in the line of gotta go go go IUAW Presidents?

President Rory Gamble’s son, Rory Gamble II works as a Tuition Assistance Plan representative at the UAW-Chrysler National Training Center.

The Feds investigation points out the UAW-Chrysler National Training Center served another purpose: as a source of jobs, including sham jobs, for friends and family of union officials.

The union denies any impropriety. “Acting President Gamble is himself the son of a prominent labor and civil rights leader and former officer of Local 600,” wrote UAW spokesperson Brian Rothenberg in a statement. “He understands that all UAW staff and members should be judged on their own merits and no one should be either punished or helped by those relationships. But UAW staff and members also should have the right to apply for jobs and achieve success based on their own merit.”

Success…. based on merit?

To date, neither Gamble nor his son have accused of wrong doing in the federal investigation.

I guess they are not happy with the 10% friends and family placement agreement where the union can place anyone they want in hourly jobs.

Placing people on the international level is really hitting the lottery.

" had resisted and opposed labor practices such as the 10% Agreement, in which officials at Ford and officials of the UAW agreed to set aside 10% of all hourly job openings nationwide within Ford for friends and relatives of high-ranking officials within the UAW. "

Lawsuit result and 10% agreement~

DETROIT (Reuters) - The U.S. Attorney leading the investigation of corruption within the United Auto Workers (UAW) told Reuters on Friday the union’s leadership still is not fully cooperating with the government, but that individuals are giving federal investigators tips that could expand the probe.

Hmm I`m sure there`s some stories that the Feds would love to hear about the Region 4 CAP money..... didn`t Region 4 education center have a fire too?

:swear:  Rant Alert ---- Rant Alert :swear:

Be fore warned, the writer can not be held accountable for any hurt feelings. The writer is not elected or a member of the Administration Caucus.

UAW to Convene Board and Pick New President

The United Auto Workers union says its international executive board will name a new president to replace Gary Jones.    They Did….

All the union officials involved in the corruption scandal are members of the Administration Caucus.

Now this isn`t the caucus put together by UAW president Walter Reuther. Even with some current e-board members claiming it is. This current caucus went from Reuther`s ideologies to become the "administration caucus" that rules over the union after Reuther`s passing by handing out appointed positions to handpicked members and carrying out threats to dissidents. In Reuther’s time, the "Reuther Caucus" went after leftists and suspected communists/socialists in the rank and file.

This "administration caucus" has turned into the machinery that has become the main tool against the membership that questions or challenged in anyway the IUAW administration caucus. (IUAW Executive Board)

“Conform, take orders, and do the things you are told to do when I (leader of the administration caucus) tell you (me) to do them, then you (me) will become a member of the Administration Caucus”….

Ahh… the instructions given to me by Regional Servicing Rep`s then by a certain Regional Director that became the IUAW Financial Secretary and then leader of the administration caucus. “He” stated he had big plans for me if I`d just do as I was told….. Sorry, no can do Sir…(a** h***)

The rank & file needs to have a special convention or financial oversight meeting. To oversee the thousands of dollars being paid to the newly appointed, by the "administration caucus", accounting firm. This membership oversight committee should be in place because and for no other reason, the proven level of the corruption and ever-growing number of the administration caucus members being shown as participating in the corruption.

It can`t be left up to the "administration caucus" simply because in all of these federal proceedings it is proving the "administration caucus" controls, has paid for and intimidates every handpicked member of the current executive board and most regional staff. It is going to require the membership getting directly involved to rebuild and correct the union, not these same "handpicked administration caucus" members.

There are members of Kentucky and New York locals that have voiced their views that are very close to my post (rant) here. But, as always with the last 30 plus years of intimidation from the administration caucus that runs deep into the regional offices, nothing is being considered as a better way to give our union any form of real financial accountability.

Then there are the discussions and questions floating around about the GM fillings. If in these GM proceedings, its proven Denny was selling our labor without our best interest first on his list of elected obligations, will the contracts he was a negotiator and/or was president over, be considered valid or invalid? If the ruling show`s he did work for the corporates best interest… then what?

Then there`s the blind syndrome.... if you are elected to lets say watch over the international finances (our dues) and you just happen to be telling the truth when you state "I didn`t know all that shit was going on" is that like finding the watch dog sleeping in front of an empty chicken coop? Would you just keep paying that dog?

With the end of the year coming fast I`m sure there are those IUAW E-Board members that will be doing some real reminiscing....

The Decade of UAW Corruption is a good article to read and will get everyone reminiscing.

Article in the Detroit News 12/23, "8 UAW Locals urge convention to reform leadership elections".That is the change that is needed. When the top IUAW officials are elected by a popular vote of every dues paying member, then a member with a reputation as being, a good "union person" ,will at least have a chance to get elected.Break up all those arrogant, untouchable, union  FAT CATS who cozy up to the company {we all like rich friends!} and serve as another ,Company Management Administration Department.I dont think any of us would begrudge a dinner or banquet, here or there understanding ,in that position you do have to be sociable. MILLIONS of $$$$ in kick-backs from the Company?Go To Jail.Go Directly to Jail.Take your butt-fucking/ass kicking and dont rat.Above all else,do not show your ugly face:devil: around any union facility ever again. You are SCUM.Any long term high ranking union officer who had a reasonable opportunity to suspect that unethical behavior was happening-HAS TO GO.Open up those elections.
