Apexmaster33 Posted December 31, 2019 Share Posted December 31, 2019 hi guys, ok, so here is some info on the car. 2002 4.0 V6 180K. recent full tune up, new plugs, wires, alternator, thermostat, air filter, fuel filter. No CEL, fuel pressure 60 psi The engine starts as it should, after 20 sec it just stalls, and dies. it dont matter if I hold down the gas. i cannot solve this one? any idea? Apexmaster33 Posted January 1, 2020 Author Share Posted January 1, 2020 i have not tried. i found another post, about common issue with the alternator cable. it runs under water pump, and from heat the cable degreates, and shorts. i wiggle it and car ran for over 1 hour. but i dont think this is the issue.. wouldnt i get a code for MAF?
