Tesla remotely disables Autopilot on used Model S after it was sold Tesla says the owner can’t use features it says ‘they did not pay for’ I'm torn on whether the secondary dealer should have been aware of this policy prior to reselling the Tesla. This is not normal in this industry and isn't something you would typically ever consider or even think about. I personally can't and don't blame the dealer. 92merc Posted February 7, 2020 Share Posted February 7, 2020 What I'll be expecting to see is a subscription from Tesla. If you want feature "X", you'll have to pay for those updates.
