Patroy
Love it! If the black st wheel was an option on the linc, I would have shopped one.
tbone
It would be nice if they had a blackout package for the Aviator so people didn’t have go aftermarket. I imagine it will eventually show up though.
2020flyer
I loved the Explorer ST in Black, shopped it before I shopped the Aviator. The Wheels are KMC Slides. I painted the calipers myself. I didn't want to change the tire size, so I stayed with the 20" rims. I don't have the trick air suspension, so I didn't know how it would do on the 22's. The extra rubber between rim pavement makes for a great ride.
tbone
Ironically we have a black ST. I tried to get my wife to get the Aviator because the interior was better, but she wouldn’t go for it. The KMCs have a factory look which I like, and I imagine the 20s do ride better.
big_dude_nepa
Nice looking Aviator! The wheels rock. I have a red carpet one with the 22”ers on it. I’m not a fan of the “cookie cutter” look, would love to put aftermarket rims on but it would be too expensive especially if I decide not to keep it as far as flip flopping the tires from the OEM rims to the aftermarket ones. Then I’m in the selling business of trying to find someone to buy the oem one for a fair price...been there done that with my 2018 Explorer. Still have the rims taking valuable space in my garage. You did a nice job personalizing your Aviator ??
2020flyer
Yeah, I don't know what I am going to do with the factory rims...
