AntonioCole
I purchased a 2019 Super Duty 6.7 Turbo 2 weeks ago. I got it for invoice as it was a 2019 and I guess they couldn’t move it before the 2020’s. None the less I bought it with 100 miles on it from the dealer. Today I hit 500 miles and I got the “Change Oil Light Soon” upon start up and replicated when I restarted. I imagine this is probably a vehicle algorithm considering it’s a year old. Is this something to be concerned with or should I just reset the light and see what happens?vidmate mobdro word counter Edited March 2, 2020 by AntonioCole
akirby
If the dealer didn’t change the oil you should change it. It degrades over time even if not driven much.
blazerdude20
I’d talk to the selling dealer, they might be willing change the oil for free.
blwnsmoke
I'm willing to bet a beer the truck is more than a year old since production. If you havent hit the mileage/usage algorithm, it will trigger automatically at 12 months old.
