South Korea (which has good data) figures the mortality rate is about 0.65%.  This is from a NYT article.

Im not surprised. You know what South Korea and New York City have in common? Densely populated cities where people literally live on top of each other, which is going to spread any infectious disease faster, which is why their national average is higher than the US national average.

The true Pandemic is the mental deficiencies that keep being proven every….. frickin…. day

The man we now know as the Green River Killer, Gary Ridgeway, was sent to prison for more than 500 years. He was convicted of 49 murders of prostitutes, girls on the streets and vulnerable runaways, but he was suspected of committing 71 murders in the 1970s, ’80s and ’90s.

He was arrested in the ’80s but let go for lack of evidence. A task force was formed to track down the serial killer and in 2001 – decades and multiple victims later – Gary Ridgeway was busted again and confessed to 71 murders.

INSANE – PERIOD…. is what Washington State prison reformers nearly succeeded in doing last week.

Complete Insanity: Washington State Came One Vote Away From Releasing Green River Serial Killer So He Wouldn't Get Wuhan Virus.

Did any of the votes to release, offer to take him home and protect him from CoVid19?

Someone lonely in their office gets paid to come up with these scenario`s. "Model`s" as the group leaders refer to these scenario`s as, are used then to paint picture`s that become more and more abstract from the reality.

Many of these worst case scenario`s put numbers together that referred to such things as;

At one point 240,000 American`s will die from the WuFlu

NYC Health/Medical Systems would be completely overwhelmed

Over 40,000 ventilator's would be needed in NY alone

California will have so many cases the state needed multiple Army Field Hospitals and the Navy Hospital Ship in the San Francisco Bay

Illinois' needed three Army Field Hospital, McCormick Place turned into a temporary hospital and more PPE`s then on the face of the earth...

Michigan went into hyper group leader drive with all the above and... you farmers stay out of those fields

Kinda reminds me of a data process - scenarios produce numbers that produces data that less knowing group leaders use too ???

Then there`s the numbers generating group that wants to be heard over all the other numbers generating groups and the media groups wants the best bang for their buck soooo

lets see, "Unemployment is at a record high that hasn`t been seen since the GREAT DEPRESSION!!!!

Once again "Kinda reminds me of a data process - scenarios produce numbers that produces data that less knowing group leaders use too ???"

25.5% as of 1932 August was the peak of unemployment during the depression,  14.7% as of 2020 April unemployment is the peak during the WuFlu. Now... one thing these numbers generating groups leave out to make their numbers, make the grade for the media groups to pay for is... TLO`s. Yep in the depression job`s had to be created, WPA and all types of state level jobs created to put people into jobs. Because in the depression jobs were lost.  Now... there`s no talk of TLO or a surge in hiring that is in the process currently. (CAP ROBO call for hiring) Why? that doesn`t scare sheepies (ididntdoit)  that much. How many UAW, USW, IUOE,  and etc etc etc  didn`t "lose" their jobs? How many of the 14.7 million unionized work force will go back to their same jobs after a Temporary Lay Off? Sooo what dose the 14.7% as of 2020 April really mean?  It kinda reminds me of another data process - garbage in, garbage out.

One GREAT THING the numbers generators also forgot to generate was the numbers proving how the number one consuming population will wait in line to pay five bucks for a cup of designer coffee!!!!! Thank goodness for those drive thru crews at Starbucks!!!! Oh and thank goodness for all those Medical group members that got to drink up for free!!!!

Talking about numbers, I have to laugh when somebody that's not "mainstream" comes up with some good news looking at the actual numbers(inflated) from these clowns and are immediately disregarded(taken off of YouTube and Facebook as FALSE info). They say where did you get your info from, how did you calculate it and is it "peer reviewed"? That's if your lucky, most just gets taken down.

Then I'm sitting listening to Gov. Pudwackster's press conference and he gets a question about the data used in their "models"(the science) that everything is being decided by. He don't know (WTF). "It's a couple peoples work and you would have to ask them" if they would share that information. Again WTF? You are making decisions for the PUBLIC blindly and not even giving the PUBLIC access to that information?

Does anybody have a "MODEL' from anytime during this fiasco that's been even 50% right???????????????????????

Then you get this garbage trying to divide people more.........    Coronavirus: US death toll would have been halved had it acted 4 days sooner, study says

I don't believe anything they say anymore because nothing has been right.

Why is this not all over the News? It's a reputable University. New study claims vitamin D deficiency may impact coronavirus mortality rates

Quote

The researchers also found a strong correlation between vitamin D levels and cytokine storm, which is a hyperinflammatory condition caused by an overactive immune system.

“Cytokine storm can severely damage lungs and lead to acute respiratory distress syndrome and death in patients,” Ali Daneshkhah, a postdoctoral research associate at Northwestern’s McCormick School of Engineering, said in a statement. “This is what seems to kill a majority of COVID-19 patients, not the destruction of the lungs by the virus itself. It is the complications from the misdirected fire from the immune system.”

A team member from KY put some points to a medical group leader that, had all types of common sense wrapped up in the team members points.

The team leader said, I think we ought to have a little bit of humility in our belief that the team knows what’s best for all the arena`s, the team member said Tuesday during a major leauge team meeting.  At the major leauge meeting the team member stated, as much as I respect the medical group leader, I don’t think you’re the end-all. I don’t think you’re the one person that gets to make all the arena decisions for all the arena`s.

The KY team member went on to say the team is opening up a lot of arena`s around the U.S., and the KY team member said I hope that people who are predicting doom and gloom and saying, 'Oh, we can’t do this' ... will admit that they were wrong if there isn’t a surge in arena issues because I think that’s what’s going to happen.

Continuing the KY team member stated: "In rural arenas — we never really reached any sort of pandemic levels or arena issues in KY and other states. We have less arena issues (deaths) in KY than we have in an average arena flu situation.

Wonder if any other gloom and doomer`s team members will admit it....?

fmccap for some time now I`ve been reading about, looking into his senate record and watching his actions and listening to his opinions. Today in the hearings I was impressed with his knowledge of the big picture.  I understand your views. I`d support the team member from KY.

It's a shame there is not more like him. He's a lot like his father. They only take the current Republican name because the system is setup to keep others out. I don't know anymore, the apathy grows daily. People don't think for themselves at all anymore and it's only getting worse. SAD

It's very simple, the Fed's first job is to protect our homeland and second to protect our rights. Not 95% of what they do and the SHEEP just keep lining up.

We’ve had 321 unfortunate deaths in KY and our numbers are rapidly falling.  The local paint store who is a national chain has been open this entire time with curbside pickup.  I called them with my order then again when I was in the parking lot to give my card info.  They bring it out and put it in your trunk or truck bed, no contact.  Folks can figure out how to run their businesses in an adaptive environment.  This is what the KY team player sees and wonders what all the hoopla is.  He has long  been a fiscal conservative and I can’t wait to see what he says about the new stimulus package.  He constantly questions why we give money to countries who don’t like us.  He’s a no nonsense guy, wish there were more like him to stop this spending.  Pelosi's new package will cost each taxpayer $10,000 in taxes to pay it off.

Don’t forget he is a doctor too so he can go toe to toe with the “experts” and their charts/data/suppositions which appear to be based on the SWAG (silly wild ass guess!) method.

18 May 2020 @ 0600 will be the beginning of a new chapter in the Ford Motor Company`s history.

At CAP the unknown is generating all kinds of questions. Then the unknown is adding all kinds of excuses. One excuse will be meet with some clarification from the Prickster,  he has instructed the department of employment securities to work closely with employer's to inform  the department if work is available and if any work has been refused by unemployment benefit recipients.

Then the statement "I`m frightened and don`t think I`ll feel safe to return to the plant now".  One response given recently to that statement was, "employee`s with vacation or PB hours can apply to use them.

For those making the "why did the call us back" statement, with the follow up of "they don`t even need these units" and " no one is buying anything" that sheepie talk is shot down with the fact, all F series truck have reached a large back order level. Explorer service units and ST units are in a high level of back orders also. Dealer`s in Lake, Porter and LaPorte counties have ran out of there trading units they use to do dealer inventory trades for the sold units they have deposits on.

I`d use all these years of being on the plant floor to put my two cents in..... this is gunna be really weird

After wondering a few things I found a site of history on the US pandemic`s over the years,

https://www.cdc.gov/flu/pandemic-resources/pandemic-timeline-1930-and-beyond.htm

After doing the non sheepie thing it became apparent that this pandemic may have some underlying factors. Not only the level of hysteria and the political under tones but something that few want to express.... Then yesterday a medical group leader kinda shot some holes in another medical group leaders way of explaining his points with all those models and well possibilities and the I`d advise but not completely sure type of ramblings...

Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar on Sunday suggested that the underlying health conditions of Americans, in particular in minority communities, contributed significantly to the death toll from the coronavirus.

"Unfortunately the American population is a very diverse ... It is a population with significant unhealthy comorbidities that do make many individuals in our communities, in particular African American, minority communities particularly at risk here because of significant underlying disease health disparities and disease comorbidities -- and that is an unfortunate legacy in our health care system that we certainly do need to address," he told CNN's Jake Tapper on "State of the Union."

When Tapper pushed back, asking Azar if he was implying the reason so many Americans had died from Covid-19 was because they were "unhealthier than the rest of the world, Azar said no, that wasn't what he meant.

Then the head of the HHS emphasized again that the US had a "significantly disproportionate burden of comorbidities ... (including) obesity, hypertension, diabetes," adding that "these are demonstrated facts that do make us at risk for any type of disease burden."

Earlier in the show, Tapper pointed out that the US death toll is approaching 90,000 from the disease. Azar later said the health of Americans was a contributing factor to that toll.

When Tapper asked Azar if he meant to suggest that the death toll from coronavirus was the fault of the American people, Azar explained "this is not about fault."

"Oh, no, Jake, please don't distort -- no, this is not about fault. It's about simple epidemiology and stating that, if we have hypertension, if we have diabetes, we present with greater risk of severe complications from this coronavirus," Azar responded. "That's all I was saying. And you know that," Azar said.

Azar continued, saying, "This is not – a blame an individual for their health conditions. That would be absurd. It's simply a statement that we do have greater risk profiles here in the United States."

(Ok so what I had to look up Comorbidity so what :whistling:)

Funny??? after reading about the multiple virus`s through the last century it now makes a little more sense about all the mortality rate discussion and deceptions, this calculating of these numbers may start to look a little different. I remember the group leaders in NY and NYC added how many to their mortality numbers over night that? had no tests or mention of underlying factors. Why?

Sure wish more of those CAP C crew peep`s would have said they`d come in today.... CAP is runnin so smoothly :bliss:

You in Michigan? If not come on in and head up north! But if you live here you had better not leave your house to go to your cabin, that's a big no-no. But feel free to buy liquor and lottery tickets.

Gretchen Whitrmer is the worst governor in the history of this state. Rick Snyder averaged 15 Exective Orders per year for 8 years, Miss fix the roads has had almost 100 exective orders in 14 month. Clearly she has had do deal with problems that Snyder did not, but it's begining to look like it's a power issue for her. Having the dealerships locked for 10 weeks in Michigan will be costly. Other states just limited them to a few customers at a time and it was completely safe. Some of the smaller dealerships may go under. How can they allow 5000+ people back into some of our plants, but they will not allow 1 person at a time to get a hair cut with mask and face shield. Liquor stores, smoke shops & weed dispensaries were deemed essental, but other small businesses were forced to close and will likely loose everything. Family owned businesses were padlocked while Wallmart, Target and Amazon took all their customers. Our Governor is supporting big business whlie forcing all the little guys into bankrupcy.

I was a Whitmer supporter, but no more. I may never vote for another Democrat governor ever again. My family has voted Democrat for generations, but I don't see how I can continue to vote for a party who does not seem to care about the middle class and the small business owners. A party that seems more concern with power than doing whats right for its citizens. Whitmer is to busy trying to look tough and make a name for her self in national politics, all at the expense of our states economy.

Today’s Democratic and Republican parties are not the same old parties they use to be. The Democrats are now a Socialist party.  In days of old they really promoted the unions, things were good and a lot of folks (us) got good paying jobs.  After we (us) have worked our butts off for years      they now want to redistribute our tax monies, take away our private health insurance and put everybody (and I mean everybody) on government run insurance.  Now don’t forget that countries that didn’t fare so well during covid had government run hospitals.

They also have a hard on right now for mail in ballots.  I’m sure you can figure that one out.

Although the Republicans are against unions they don’t seem to be as bad since Trump has been in and I look at what the alternative is  to voting Republican so I vote Republican.  If JFK were alive today I don’t believe he would be a Democrat.

So don’t feel bad about identifying with the Republican Party because it’s no longer the party your parents warned you about when you were growing up.

Oh, I forgot to mention about the Democrats being the PC police.  So now if you fuck up and say hell, damn, or shit instead of being brought up front to the hot seat you get fired.

Of course this headline is being spun as this terrible terrible terrible number. If you read through the Times article it`s a bit overboard on the oh my goodness we can`t tell 80% of the people are infected....

                                                                                                                                             Time

Up to 80% of COVID-19 Infections Are Asymptomatic, a New Case Report Says

How`s this work? If 80% of the population has no symptom's, ill effects or complications and that's bad? If the 20% is either at higher risk for infection or in a target age group that warrants special precautions and/or responses to safeguard against infection.... lock down 100%? mask up 100%? have we maybe over reacted? have all these models been just slightly off?   have we lost 2 months of earnings because 80% have a flu with no symptom`s, ill effects or complications?

Yeah I know but but but "they are sayin" the body count has hit a mile stone of 100K. This number is??? get shot and dye in the commission of an attempted robbery  by a NYC cop and you turn up as a part of the 100K?

FCA is charging workers for receiving SUB pay

Yeah,I knew we would get screwed and the company could probably use the financial, help but I was just wondering because, I know some people who feel like we paid for our own SUB with our own tax dollars. The fact that FCAU initially paid out SUB on top of the Federal $600 has me wondering that maybe not paying us SUB can be argued in court.

The way I understand it is in this situation, SUB pay hinges on how that extra $600 is classified by the government. Because Michigan declared it to be income (Thanks for that, Gretchen) then it meant that the SUB provision in the contract somehow wasn't applicable. It's all very confusing and I still don't think I 100% understand how it works.

34 States Had Higher Death Rate From 2018 Flu Than Coronavirus

Quote

You’d think the decision by those seven state governors to send coronavirus patients back into nursing homes would be the number one story in America, since it likely cost us tens of thousands of lives. But because six of these states have Democratic governors, the media has mostly ignored it. Focusing instead on the idea that Republican governors who are allowing their residents to leave their homes are going to cause massive death totals.

In know way will I try to apply or disguise an Ag Business accomplishment as a contractual law background but, I can find some references or specific language to Ford with holding payable benefit because of out side income when SUB is the topic. SUB is a hand in hand calculation that is spelled out in the master agreement. It`s been carryover language for every master agreement that I can find. Income is a factor in this calculation if one claims income from any source during a week that unemployment benefit is being requested. The claiming of outside income will reduce the unemployment benefit which will then in most cases reduce SUB.

If any member that received both unemployment and the $600 federal cares act grant and didn`t go "1099" would look at the check they received from the Department of Employment Securities and if the taxes were calculated based on a total of both unemployment benefit and cares act benefit then Ford will stand on the unwritten or broad interpretation of "income" to reduce or completely eliminate a SUB benefit.

The question will have to be most likely put to a higher court in each state which will push a decision to a federal level for just one reason, was the cares act benefit a grant? If so then why was it taxed as income? (if it was) If it is not a grant and is taxable income then that question has to be determined. If that question is determined and it is taxable income then two thing can occur, if one goes 1099 then at the end of the year you will be paying taxes on total benefits received or if you didn`t go 1099 your W-2 will show total gross earnings including both unemployment and cares act benefits.

Yep fuzzy you hit that on the head, its how the feds label the cares act benefit and how the states interpret it in the states best interest. Wouldn't it be great to be able to write off a loss like big business does for "loss on revenue" ? Every individual receiving cares act benefit is in the lost revenue boat, just look at a check from last year on the same date as this year.... actually the write off (if we could) would mostly be more than the cares benefit.....
