Black Label
My wife has a 2011 Explorer Limited with the, I think, IIRC, the polished aluminum wheels. See the attached pics, but they are corroded or something. has anyone seen this foreign substance in the up close photo? If so, can anyone suggest a product to clean them back to looking new or close to it? Okay. I don't know why I have such a hard time attaching pics on this forum. I have tried to attach 2 pics on Safari and now Firefox and get a message saying there was a problem uploading the files. They come in well under 10mb, and I have tried to attach them separately to no avail. Thank you.
blwnsmoke
if the finish is spider webbing, it is unfortunately common on the 5th gens. My 2011 had it as well after about 5 years and just kept getting worse.

Black Label
Wow, it's like you posted my pics for me. Not sure why I always get an error message, but that's exactly what mine look like. ?
