Been noticing these alot more in the beach areas where I live...on the roads. I'm wondering how that works?

Also how do you trademark styling? I get the grill part to a point, but rest seems pretty hard to do.

Mahindra paid for the rights to build a CJ style vehicle to the former owner Willys in 1947 and still owns those rights. FCA is just a spoiled kid that cannot figure out a way to invalidate the agreement so they will tie Mahindra up in court instead. I've seen and sat in a Roxor and it is nothing like the current Wrangler.

I think this is more or less "home cooking". Hard to imagine FCA winning a ruling like this in a neutral country.

I guess if you apply the logic of this ruling to its ultimate extreme, FCA can go after any vehicles that even remotely resembles a Wrangler. And since Mahindra owns the rights to CJ tooling and design in India, in theory they could sue to block FCA from selling Wrangler in India and I'm sure India courts will find that argument convincing.
