The USOB (Unscheduled Order Bank) opening for the 2021 Nautilus has been pushed back to 10/28/2020. Scheduling will still start on 12/17/2020 and the Job #1 Date remains 01/25/2021.

Hopefully a large change in the 2021 Order Guide!

Thanks for keeping us informed.

Does this mean they're going to open order banks before they even announce the product? Why would they do that?

The 2021 Nautilus Order Guide should be released to Dealers tomorrow which will be the official announcement as to new features, options, etc. The USOB will open at the same time.

Looks like all the new interior stuff has been omitted, no mention of Sync at all in it so maybe a formal release next week?

Only thing is just the typical Ford decontenting for 2021, 10 way passenger seat becomes 8 way, no more heated wiper park, Fog lamps removed from Reserve trim line etc. -- You can do that stuff on the Ford line, but it looks bad for Lincoln.

The order guide is the formal release. If it's not in the order guide it's not included, available, etc. and it's rare that there's anything missing in the order guide relevant to changes. The exception would be a feature or option that is planned to be included at a later date (Job #2) but even then it's normally included and listed in the order guide as "Late Availability".

The order guide includes a reference to a 12.3 LCD instrument cluster screen.

There's no mention of any infotainment, not even the old 8" like the 2020 order guide had, it is very weird. The current Nautilus has the 12.3" IC cluster already which is referenced.

Well, here';s our answer for the Edge:

That looks great!  Much better integration than the Explorer’s tacked on look.

Also nice that there is some color to it and not just different shades of light blue and off white.

All 2019s and 2020s have an 8-speed regardless of trim. That said, the ST does currently have a different 8-speed than the non-St trims. I can't recall the transmission code designations though. I believe the non-ST trims use the joint venture w/ GM 8-speed (minus a gear -- the GM version has 9 speeds) while the ST transmission is an evolution of an earlier 6 speed albeit with 2 added ratios.

No, order guide shows 7speed trans for the ST. Looks like all trims lost a bunch of equipment, rain sensing wipers, media door cover, illuminated sill plates, turn signal mirrors, heated wiper park, 4 or 6way vs 10 way passenger seats, foot activated lift gate, six speakers vs 9 on sel and st-line laminated sound glass, sound windshield, front camera washer and a whole lot more.

Even for Ford this is a lot of feature and surprise and delight feature elimination.
