LincolnLawyer
The back-up camera on my 2018 Reserve L has been on the fritz. When shifting into reverse, the screen that is supposed to display the area behind the vehicle is blacked out about 50% of the time. My local Lincoln service department informed me that the camera itself is defective and that the replacement part is on “galactic” nation-wide back order with no ETA in sight. Apparently, the back-up cameras on several Ford and Lincoln models have been dropping like flies lately. Anyone else experience this issue? Hopefully my wife doesn’t back into anything or over anyone before the camera can be replaced, whenever that will be. bcparker2
Mine is same sad to hear about the backorder. On the bright side sensors still work right?
trupilot
2018 reserve, same issue. Took my dealer a week to get a replacement. Service manager said they have several on order. Sensors did continue to work.
LincolnLawyer
Let us know when the replacements arrive at your dealer. My service manager seemed to think that it could be months, especially as F-150s are also affected by this issue and there are untold millions of those out there. I filed a complaint with the NHTSA, but not holding my breath. Edited September 5, 2020 by LincolnLawyer
