parker92
I just bought a 2018 F150 and it cane with a Securicode card and pin but I don't see a keypad anywhere. Is there another reason for this code?

fuzzymoomoo
Does F-150 have the keypad embedded in the B-pillar appliqué like a lot of other fords do? That's where it is on both my Flex and Fusion.

akirby
It appears it was not available on XLs - only XLT and above. OP must have a XL.
Kev-Mo
There's always the stick-on version for <100 bucks that is easy to install - doesn't look as good but can't imagine having a truck without the keypad. If you have a question like this Fordtech is your guy - ping him and see what he can tell you. The guys on this thread have answers too: https://www.f150forum.com/f118/add-factory-door-keypad-367905/index3/

There are definitely no raised buttons and I don't see one under an applique. I'm guessing the code went with a different truck and the dealer didn't realize it. Just wasn't sure if there was another reason for it. Thanks for the replies!
twintornados
Doesn't "securicode" also protect the radio and/or other telemetrics i.e. if the radio is stolen, it will not work in the recipient vehicle until the "securicode" is properly inputted into the radio. I don’t think so.
YT90SC
ALL BCM's (Body Control Module) are shipped with their keycode card, if they have the ability to use it or not. Akirby is right. Only for entry functions. Edited September 15, 2020 by YT90SC
