akirby
I thought it was a new skateboard platform. The suspension might end up the same but I doubt they’re starting with a F150 frame.

How about taking it a bit further- How about a "skateboard" truck frame that can be shared between the Ranger, Bronco and Expedition? Going on how the Bronco IP/Dash is shared with the F-150, I'm assuming that harnesses and whatnot are also shared between it and the F-150 and the upcoming Ranger...that would go a long way to saving Ford money and development time and maybe a nightmare if there is a recall....

jpd80
A variation from the same supplier?
rmc523
I mean, it's using the same screen, so it'd use the same mounting points for that.

Center consoles are almost identical to one another button/screen wise Just like the US Ranger uses the switch gear from a Fusion I'm also assuming the subsystems are the same-the both support OTA updates The IPs look different, but I'm assuming they use the same tech

I just wouldn't have worded it as "sharing dashes/IP", as they're clearly different even if they share components. At the end of the day it doesn't matter lol.
