Reset Tire Warning Light

Yellow tire pressure light came on. After filling tires to proper psi's I went thru the triple on/off starter button - brake pedal series twice as suggested following the steps precisely. Yellow light remains on.  ?  Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi Bob. First...it can take up to 20 miles of driving for the TPMS system to read the new pressures. If it does not reset by then, then there may be a system issue that needs addressing.

 

Next...Where did you obtain that reset procedure? From your Owners Manual or somewhere else? If somewhere else, take out your Owners Manual and use the specific TPMS reset procedure outlined in it.

 

Finally...What model year is your Edge?

I have a 2019 Titanium. Pulled out the owners manual and followed it. Bingo! All fixed and thank you for telling me what the wife suggested initially but I thought I could out fox technology. ?
