Mab77
Need to replace my lug nuts- bought new tires and they must have torqued the he’ll out of em. went change brakes and lugs are slipping . I looked online and OEM for 18” 2016 Ford F-150 xlt says 13/16” (21mm) but I can’t get a 13/16” on- I have to use a 7/8” and it’s tight. can anyone explain this? Did they put diff tires on my truck I ordered? anyway to. Order the right ones- I’m guessing if I have 7/8” lugs on mine the 13/16” won’t fit? or are the threads the same? Appreciate it! Bushwhacker1
Expanded chrome plating. Depending on your local weather it can be salt water from road penetrating between the plated exterior and the steel core. Can also happen from use of wrong socket on impact driver. Replace with solid stainless steel nuts. Gorilla is a common replacement brand.
