VIP
I think you must select the 202 package to get the Sport Appearance option.
ice-capades
Yes. Option availability, compatibility, restrictions, etc. are all specified in the 2021 Explorer Order Guide which is available in the Dealer Order Guides section at the link in the menu at the top of the page. akirby
Not earth shattering but I like it.
silvrsvt
So it’s more or less an ST appearance package
T-dubz
Does anyone know when the build and price for 2021 models will be up? I’m sitting at my dealership now waiting for an oil change and they already have several of these 2021 explorers with the sport appearance package on the lot. I like the wheels and the interior. Grille seems to be the same as the xlt but just in all carbon gray. The only options on this model were 202a and the sport appearance package and it was right at 40k. Don't know about when it will be added to ford.com, but Edmunds has its own build and price tool ready for 2021 Explorer. https://www.edmunds.com/ford/explorer/build/?defaultYear=2021
akirby
Sometimes they wait to move the previous models off the lot. I'm sure it will be up within the next couple of weeks.

This isn't a sport package, it's just an appearance package. It gets whatever the regular motor is AFAIK.
ice-capades
The XLT Sport Appearance Package on the 2021 Explorer is nothing new. It's been available for years, except for the all-new 2020MY Explorer, and is just that... an appearance package.
