T-dubz
https://www.motor1.com/news/452563/ford-ranger-t6-facelift-thailand/ isnt the next gen ranger supposed to come out in 2022 for the rest of the world and then the following year here in the US? I was surprised to see a facelift.

jpd80
It's just a light refresh to get through 2021 until the next gen Ranger arrives, just enough to keep buyers interested in its ninth year, not bad all the same. bzcat
Ford is being proactive which is a positive change for Ford in the region... In the last few months, there has been a new Isuzu D-Max, a midcycle facelift of Toyota Hilux, and a midcycle facelift of Nissan Navara that is about to drop before the end of the year. So Ranger will be one of the oldest truck on the market so Ford is making sure its sales doesn't collapse before the new one comes out in 2022.

For only being a bumper cover it improves the look 100%. I hated that half bumper being swallowed by a half fascia look the overseas Rangers had. At least the new front end picked one and went with it.
T-dubz
I think that orange ranger isn’t the current version, it was the model before the current one. Here is the current wildtrak and xlt.
BoomerSooner
It'd be even cooler if they'd raise the pivot point for the fold of the back seat so it would fold flat and make a shelf. That's a frustrating feature of the current Ranger: The backseat backrest folds forward, but not enough to be useful.

bzcat
Congratulation... looks like South America will get the next generation Ranger after all (and by extension, the new Amarok once Ford takes over production)
