rperez817
Here is a video review of Wuling Hong Guang Mini EV. This is more a replacement for a motorcycle or scooter for customers living in urban areas in China than competition for traditional passenger cars. bzcat
Wuling EVs are not the only reason GM is outselling Tesla in China. Chevy Menlo and Buick Velite 6 are also contributing to the general success of GM's EV strategy in China. But more to the point, Wuling itself is a big success whether you are talking about EV or ICE. Wuling and its related slightly upmarket Baojun brand are mega success story for GM. Contrast that with Ford's Yusheng brand which got zero traction and apparently is being phased out. GM's brand offering in China from cheapest to most expensive: Wuling, Baojun, Chevy, Buick, Cadillac. Ford's brand offering in China from cheapest to most expensive: JMC, Yusheng, Jiangling Ford, Chang'an Ford, Lincoln.
