It is a global economy..period. A car assembled in the US may have parts acquisitions that occur from many companies globally and then assembled in the US. It is truly hard to find any company where the entire vehicle is parted and assembled in the US. Tesla is one that I can think of.

BS. Mexican unions are bootlickers to the factories, including Ford. They exist to keep the workers in line, and the wages & benefits low. Ford had the labor contact in place at Hermosillo before anyone was hired.

A worker cleaning shower stalls at a US truck stop can make 5+ times more than a Mexican line worker. The legals & illegals working in the US send over $25 billion annually to relatives in Mexico, which helps perpetuate the low wages and benefits there; why pay more when most are getting a stipend from their family up north?
