"At the beginning of the pandemic, the government and insurers put several policies in place that made sense to determine disease prevalence, which included widespread testing. Hospitals correctly did preemptive testing to determine the correct infection control protocols to use with individual patients. However, other mandates paired this with perverse financial incentives that provided additional funding for COVID-19 care. The original COVID-19 relief package created a 20% premium that included probable cases and laboratory-confirmed cases for Medicare patients. Several large health insurers also waived copays and coinsurance for care related to COVID-19."

"The motives for these reimbursement policies were, in all probability, principled. Hospitals were shut down for many elective and non-emergency procedures, reducing their income. The cost of care for severe COVID-19 in an intensive care unit is also extraordinary. Trying to preserve the health system and insulate families from crippling medical costs was undoubtedly noble. However, being in the hospital with COVID-19 and being in the hospital for COVID-19 are two completely different situations and the reimbursement policies made no distinction."

"If a 50-year-old male is admitted to the hospital with chest pain, the staff will test him for COVID-19 per hospital policy. If his test is positive, even with no COVID symptoms, COVID-19 will, in all likelihood, be added to his diagnosis. Yet, if he has a heart catheterization and a blockage in a coronary artery is detected and corrected, the reimbursement will still kick in. Even if he never had a clinical symptom of COVID-19."

I am shocked. There was a monetary motivation in the decision to put the "of" and "with"  in the column that paid more? I am shocked..... medical professional`s would never consider the bottom line. Political motivation...? naaa no way....

Saudi Arabia also? Not just Israel being attached by a proxy country? Wonder if Jobama will help free up assets of Iran even more?  Back to negotiating a nuclear deal with Iran? But of course it`s just to generate electricity... right?

The good doctor referenced gain-of-function research on multiple occasions, multiple times and with referencing both other scientists use of it and his own personal use of it. Then with in the last few days the good doctor even stating the use of gain of function research at, where... in Woohann.

Has the good doctor ever made a mistake or just been flat wrong or as a grunt would say "he didn`t see that fucker coming"?

Human`s fuck up and last check even being as squirrely as the good doctor is, he is human also. Not saying the good doctor was the focal point of this major league fuck up but dam if it doesn't look like he is back pedaling enough to be a part of the bullshit after effects.... cover up.

How many times in recent history have scientists given the world proclaimed cures or great medicines to just have shit happen all wrong. ....Thalidomide.

Imagine for a moment if an outbreak of an unknown disease happened a couple miles from Fort Detrick, Maryland (US Army biological defense/weapons research). Then the US government said it was caused by local hunters eating contaminated deer. No one in the world would believe it. Even US military supporters/veterans would cast a wary eye. Now a regime that has never released numbers killed in the Cultural Revolution, Tiananmen Square, Hong Kong unrest, etcetera you really think will come clean about this?

GLENN KESSLER May 25, 2021 12:00 PM ET
"How and why did this happen? For one, efforts to discover a natural source of the virus have failed. Second, early efforts to spotlight a lab leak often got mixed up with speculation that the virus was deliberately created as a bioweapon. That made it easier for many scientists to dismiss the lab scenario as tin-hat nonsense. But a lack of transparency by China and renewed attention to the activities of the Wuhan lab have led some scientists to say they were too quick to discount a possible link at first. Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) from the start pointed to the lab’s location in Wuhan, pressing China for answers, so the history books will reward him if he turns out to be right. The Trump administration also sought to highlight the lab scenario but generally could only point to vague intelligence. The Trump administration’s messaging was often accompanied by anti-Chinese rhetoric that made it easier for skeptics to ignore its claims. As a reader service, here is a timeline of key events, including important articles, that have led to this reassessment. In some instances, important information was available from the start but was generally ignored. But in other cases, some experts fought against the conventional wisdom and began to build a credible case, rooted in science, that started to change people’s minds. This has led to renewed calls for a real investigation into the lab’s activities before the coronavirus emerged."

Fauci: "I still think it's "highly likely" that the coronavirus had a natural origin"    Hmm this good doctor is getting over 400K US dollars a year of tax payer`s money and how much from his part time job in yen.... :spiteful:

The lefties have been telling us for a year to "follow the Fauci". I recall a Watergate era quote "follow the money".

Senate chamber cheers after Paul's amendment banning funding of gain-of-function research in China passes unanimously

"Gain-of-function research, where we take a deadly virus, sometimes much more deadly than COVID, and then we increase its transmissibility to mammals is wrong,”

Paul said when introducing the amendment.

“Any gain-of-function research should not be funded in China with U.S. taxpayer dollars, and I recommend a yes vote.”

"Paul’s amendment was then sent to a voice vote and was approved, eliciting cheers from throughout the chamber."

Now vote to investigate/prosecute Fauci and defund CDC and redirect funds "to the people"...

Please help, I know there is nothing to see here but can anyone help explain to me how today's thinking can even defend this?

Senators Scorch Stuttering ATF Nominee, David Chipman

Let's defund police. Ban anything more than a 22 or any semi automatic. If you are lucky enough to stop a criminal with a 22, or a BB gun, prosecute you for violating their rights. Social justice "redistribution of wealth". You didn't build that business or your belongings. You "stole" it from others. So someone stealing from you is only doing the right thing. Wish I could say I am exaggerating. There are members of Congress who actually believe this. The want to feed you shit and tell you it is chocolate.

Like or Dislike...? Love or Hate...? Or I just don`t care.  Whatever the sentiments on your T-Shirt may state, one thing is for sure, history repeats its self. Even the facts are showing the slow and less talked of move from the lefties to the centrist camp. With the never ending way the handlers are trying to portray the ever growing number of negative results from the Jobama game plan (is there one?) as something to celebrate it is becoming less and less a long shot for that bad orange man to say naaa I`ll sit this one out.

This summary pretty much spells it out.
"Before Mitt Romney became a thorn in the side of the Republican Party, he was in a similar position as Donald Trump. After the 2012 election, almost everything Romney predicted would happen under a second Obama term—happened. Russia ran amok, Obamacare was a disaster, premiums rose and hurt the middle class, and job growth was anemic."
"Right now, we had gas lines in the eastern United States, anemic jobs growth, China going rogue, Russia running amok again, inflation rising, another war in Gaza, and Joe is out getting chocolate chip ice cream. The ‘I told you so’ narrative is there—and Trump could win it if he chooses. I do believe that—big league. The Trump coalition is durable, passionate, and will mobilize in droves. They’re also one of the deadliest blocs of voters in terms of political geography; they’re very efficiently dispersed throughout the country. Oh, and they hate being polled so you don’t know where they’ll pop up. The only question is if Trump wants to run again. If he does mount a 2024 campaign, the primaries are over as the number of Republicans who want him to run again is sky-high (via The Hill)"

Everyday it seems the lefties push another thinly disguised present across the isle. In the last week some really neat little tid bits have sneaked out about the good doctor, get rid of all the coppers movement, you won`t have to wait in line if you had an electric car, statements. Then our less than competent and chief with stating how everything is just fantastic really helps with warm and fuzzies for the slow move to the center of the road.
Then how long can the socialist media hide all the great foreign affaires polices? Or the number of the new unemployment applications for the second quarter? Then the shortages like  gas and both new and used cars and gee the prices of gas or hell something as simple as plywood, yea plywood at over 50 bucks a sheet. But Jobama is smiling and eating ice cream...

Who`d a thought all the little gifts would be just given away by the spend, spend. spend crew?

Rand Paul was definitely on to something, not that there was little doubt in a lot of minds that he was. The good doctor is turning out to be kinda like Frankenstein...

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/katiepavlich/2021/05/28/bombshell-fauci-said-studying-bat-viruses-was-worth-a-potential-pandemic-n2590169

According to The Weekend Australian, Fauci wrote in 2012 that continuing dangerous gain-of-function research was worth the risk of a pandemic.

The Australian

Fauci backed virus experiments ‘despite pandemic risk’. America’s top medical adviser for the coronavirus, Anthony Fauci, argued that the benefits of experimenting on contagious viruses was worth the risk of a lab accident sparking a pandemic.

Worth a potential pandemic.... what kinda fricken shit is that???

Paul pressured him on masks being "political theater". Fauci BS's through it.

Then on gain of function research. Fauci BS's through it.

Shortly after info and question come out about that type of research then miraculously all of the sudden masks are not mandated any more(huge news stories) to shift the focus, nothing to see here.

Who was the biggest mass murderer in the history of the world?

People probably assume that the answer is Adolf Hitler, master mind of the Holocaust. Some might guess Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin, who may indeed have managed to kill even more innocent people than Hitler did, many of them as part of a terror famine that likely took more lives than the Holocaust. But both Hitler and Stalin were outdone by Mao Zedong. From 1958 to 1962, his Great Leap Forward policy led to the deaths of up to 45 million people – easily making it the biggest mass murder ever recorded. All three used political factions and used propaganda to insight fear to help them achieve the end result that they all knew was their destiny as dictators.

Then we have the egotistical, infectious disease research can`t be dull and I can show the world it is far from dull research by, predicting the release of the supper virus he conjured up to prove how great a doctor he is and to prove another research expert wrong for stating his research will become dull. Anthony Fauci`s name may well exceed Mao Zadong, Joseph Stalin and Adolf Hitler`s accomplishments at the top of the list of mass murder.

Was there similar political factions and propaganda techniques used in the last four years to put in place or to orchestrate similar mind sets of our own political leaders that... believe they can rule the world? (leaders looking for opportunities to grab control at any cost?) Has there ever been so many elected representatives that fooled the masses to get elected just to more or less state in so many words, you people aren`t intelligent enough to understand anything and the elected one`s know what's best on everything and the masses should just use higher education, that the elected representatives formed for the less intelligent voters to follow the indoctrination more closely so as to reach a socialistic utopia.

See any similarities to the three mass murders of the past and using education to indoctrinate the masses of the present? Socialists use these techniques over and over to get to their utopia for the masses or as a clearer term or agenda, control of the masses.

One time and I know its never likely to happen again... I have to agree with a question the leader of LaLa land when it jumped out his "I know what's best for everyone`s mouth" ... "what the hell is wrong with us?"

And as if Mao and Company didn't do enough with the "Great Leap Forward", the "Cultural Revolution" brought him up to the leader status. I worked with a chemist from China who was in involuntary servitude for the crime of obtaining a college education. He observed executions and numerous human rights abuses. A government that can do that would have no moral compunction to release a virus that would kill its own citizens if they felt it would create greater havoc with their rivals/enemies. We have method, motive, and opportunity. Thanks Dr. Fauci.

Who the hell gave these talking heads their Masters or PHD`s in any of the issues they speak to as knowing everything possible to know?  How the hell have these individuals that sit in front of a camera and behind a news desk become such experts?

Then I can`t figure out how the hell we have got to the point where an individual that sells recordings of their voices or play an athletic game or pretends to be someone else while on stage or on a big screen and then becomes really good at doing those things. Then to become an expert on world issues or national problems because of their popularity? But what is really strange and makes no sense is how these individuals have other individuals that listen to every word from these really good singers, actors and ball players as if they have been put on earth to preach the truth of everything... there is a large number of occupants of our society that are really screwed up.
