(twice) started re reading Postman and got to realizing just how todays situations and well... people are acting out currently what was written about back in the mid to late 80`ies. Decker Posted March 16, 2021 Author Share Posted March 16, 2021 A Rassssmutin (<-- whatever) poll showed in the data that a percentage of government workers in general saw some benefits from the pandemic, a significant (and mind-blowing) majority of which were (drum roll, please) teachers and other workers at schools and colleges claimed to have realized benefits by a 60% to 36% margin. Considering all of the bitching and threats we’ve been hearing from the teacher’s unions, that sure sounds like an awful lot of happy? satisfied? or just woke type of people who are making out pretty dam good. WTF geeee why wouldn’t they? Most of them were sent home more than a year ago, but thanks to their special status as beneficiaries of the taxpayers’, they’ve still been getting paid and all beneies just a flowing. Some of them have been teaching “remotely” from their homes of course, but it’s still added up to a lot of paid time off. Then in many districts, they are being pushed to the head of the line for vaccinations, for? to do what? not much.... Some of the union officals have had to warn their members not to post pictures of themselves vacationing at the beach while everyone back home is struggling just to get through all this weird shit. Weird? this is some little know weird shit.... teachers in this poll may represent the largest share of workers realizing benefits from the pandemic but they don’t account for all of the public sector workers responding in a way that`s states they are gettin over. There are other government workers seeing a bright side to the plague, also. Because recently it was leaked that all federal workers – including the entire Postal Service – are now eligible for up to fifteen weeks !!!!! of paid leave on top of their normal vacation and sick time if anyone in their family is in any way impacted by the novel coronavirus, even if it’s just a case of their children not being able to go to school. Forget passing a $1.9 trillion Rona (9%) (91% bullshit) relief bill that does next to nothing to help struggling families—we now have Jobama creating a job creation situation that’s so bad—companies don’t even want to risk paying more taxes if the Jobama proposals become law. Nope Ford is already running to the border. Hey sheepie`s this is the exact opposite of what happened under that bad bad bad orange mans watch. Who`d a thought?
