haulingit Posted January 19, 2021 Share Posted January 19, 2021 Still looking at ordering a Lincoln Navigator. We travel north sometimes in the winter, so we need an engine block heater. The salesperson I have been talking with is being told by his management that it is only available on "fleet only option for the 100A Standard navigator". I don't know what "fleet only" is. Also, I thought the Navigator models all use the same engine, why is an engine block heater only offered in one configuration? akirby Posted January 19, 2021 Share Posted January 19, 2021 Fleet sales are bulk sales to fleet buyers (rental companies, government, businesses). Some options are only available to fleet buyers. In almost four years with my MKC parked outside in southern Ontario I have never used mine. It is probably available as a dealer-installed accessory. That doesn't surprise me, Dayton Ohio where I live has freezes that are colder than the very southern most part of Ontario near Lake Erie.
