Puma coming to NA?

Jim Farley decided to reply to a post on Twitter for the Puma ST. Could it be a subtle hint that he is bringing it across the pond to NA?

This would be a great replacement for the Ecosport.

Agreed!, if the CEO is tweeting this then I think that’s a good indicator that it will replace the stale Ecosport.

Is this Farley publicly reprimanding the North America product planning team? ?

Just about everyone have observed that Puma is a much more appropriate car for the US market than EcoSport (or Fiesta for that matter).

If Kia can sell 100k Soul a year in the US, I'm sure Ford can figure out there is a market for Puma.

Sorry to bring back an old topic, but did Ford sell that half-built Mexican plant? If not, that might be a perfect place to build the NA Puma. (and Focus, a guy can dream, can't he? That WAS the original plan IIRC) With Uncle Joe "in charge", Ford would get less hostility from the White House.

All sold

Ford wouldn’t build a $1.6 billion plant for such limited sales.
