rmc523
https://www.autoblog.com/2021/06/07/dodge-hornet-rumor-alfa-romeo-tonale-based-crossover/ Quote Website Passione Auto Italiane learned from unnamed sources that the Hornet will land as a Dodge-specific version of the Alfa Romeo Tonale, a city-friendly soft-roader that will slot below the Stelvio when it finally makes its debut. It notes both models will be built on the same assembly line in Pomigliano d'Arco, near the Italian city of Naples, and it adds that the Dodge variant will not be sold in Europe, where the brand no longer has an official presence. Don't look for a Hellcat V8 under the hood: Power will reportedly come from a turbocharged, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. Front-wheel-drive will come standard, and all-wheel-drive will be offered at an extra cost. It's reasonable to assume buyers will have at least one hybrid option to choose from, because the Tonale was recently delayed by Alfa Romeo boss Jean-Philippe Imparato after he demanded better performance from the gasoline-electric system. If it fits in the Jeep, it fits in the Dodge, and going hybrid will help one of the V8's last bastions reduce its emissions.

fuzzymoomoo
This has been rumored since the Nitro was announced. Even if it's morphed into a different form I still won't believe it until it happens.
PREMiERdrum
What's the percentage of these Chrysler FCA Stelantis "development leaks" that actually make it anywhere near production? I swear it seems like more than half of these are convenient vaporware placements to insist they aren't going tits up.

630land
Over at Allpar, they're still expecting "a new car line up from PSA", to replace Dart, 200, etc. And, some claim "Opels will be sold as Dodges". Umm, it's been 6 years since Sergio killed off Dart/200. They are not coming back. Any new Dodge/Chrysler will be a CUV, no "new Intrepid/Concorde/Stratus/LeBaron" cars. 630land
Oh, and how long will Mopar car guys keep using "FCA" term (since merger is done)? They complain about Fiat products, but gleefully say "FCA" as if the 'F' means "fun". LOL Hard to say Stellantis quick, though. ? bzcat
Website Passione Auto Italiane learned from unnamed sources that the Hornet will land as a Dodge-specific version of the Alfa Romeo Tonale, What a weird way to write about Dodge version of Jeep Compass.

bzcat
Imagine one of these Stellantis quadruplets with a Dodge crosshair grille... next gen Jeep Compass and Alfa Tonale will also be part of the same family.
