pmbaseball24
Does anyone have any more info on the current plant shutdown? I’ve heard they are getting back to production next week. Is this a full plant shutdown or just limited shifts working? Any help or insight is appreciated!
waloud
Its a full plant shutdown. They are working the repair shop to fix some less stock issues and shipping them. 1
pmbaseball24
Interesting. What do you mean by less stock issues? Fascinating facility… I can’t even imagine the challenges they are going through during these times.
waloud
We have some trucks with a part of the center console that was less stock. They was suppose to be installed this week and inspected so they can ship them.
pmbaseball24
Good to know! I believe my truck is scheduled to go across the line Monday. Couldn’t be more excited. Ordered March 29th. I’m assuming you work at the plant by your response. I just wanted to say thank you to yourself and all of you at the plant for your hard work. I can imagine this is a pretty brutal time for you guys, but the product you are creating is second to none. Thank you from a current F-150 owner and future owner of a super duty! 1

It's the only thing I can substitute in that place in your statement that makes any sense to me.

My impatience is unavoidable unfortunately, but it will come to an end. I hope you're all staying safe, and I appreciate the work you are all doing, and not just because I've got a truck somewhere in your queue.

ikre8kos4u
I just now see this thread and i guess my truck that was scheduled to be built tomorrow 5 Nov is not going to happen?
LarryD
Does this affect shipping. My truck was built 10/30 and awaiting shipping? Truck was shipped 11/4. Edited November 6, 2021 by LarryD Update

waloud
Last info I got was all 3 shifts running. We will be running more SUV production than normal.

So does this mean super duty’s that were scheduled last week might not get built this week? My F450 was scheduled for 4 November.
Modified7
I am in the Stamping Department...but as far as I know all 3 production shifts are currently operating on their normal pattern. I received my new F350 a few weeks ago. It originally had a build date of 10/8 and was eventually built 10/11. Now I work here, so I saw my truck built, sat in it, etc...but once we released it to the shipper - it took almost two weeks to deliver it 20 minutes from the plant! Happy to have it, of course...
2Wheel-Lee
I just got notice that my 450 pickup was built and is ready for shipping. So you guys at the plant are still getting it done!
